Cousins night out! It’s finally raining in Cali, so we decided to eat shabu to warm up.
Parking: This spot is located in downtown Arcadia, so finding a parking spot can be a hit or miss. Free parking spots and parking garage.
Ambiance/Environment: They have a large space with plenty of indoor seating! No outdoor seating. It’s sooo clean inside! The soups are individually served in front of you. The heat level can be easily adjusted.
Service: There were a few servers that assisted us. We didn’t catch anyone’s names except Charles. Everyone was attentive, quick, & efficient tho!
Soups, meats, & toppings: We ate AYCE for $28.99 pp! What a deal! Be mindful they have a strict no left overs policy. Their meat selection is really easy to choose from; it’s between a spectrum from fatty to lean. They also have lots of flavorful soups to choose from. Our favorites were the Sukiyaki and House Special Shrimp! They have a large self serve toppings & sauce bar. Everything is labeled and clean! The vegetables, fruits, & seafood were fresh as they were kept cold and frozen. Don’t forget complimentary ice cream dessert!
Pricing: Definitely worth its price! We appreciated how clean everything was. The soups were absolutely flavorful. Highly recommend their...
Read moreI love this shabu shabu joint in Arcadia. The food is always fresh and high quality. The service is good and friendly. There are 9 different meat choices for dinner, but only 4 for lunch. I prefer to come to lunch because the 4 choices are enough and varied, especially try their basa fish. It is delightfully tender and flavorful. My family loves the basa fish. I also love their pork belly. So tender and juicy. They have a delightful veggie and seafood (dinner only) bar. It's self-serve, so control yourself from getting too much since you want to enjoy the meat. Having said that, you do need the veggies in order to balance out the protein. The best part is their sauces. My favorite is the "peanuty" sauce. So dairy m savory and really brings out the umami favor of the meat, especially the pork. I love their mushrooms and cabbage and spinach. They are a must in any broth. I usually finish the meal with fresh, cut orange and pineapple slices. The lunch is $25.99, and the fiber is $35.99. It's on the pricy side, but with this crazy inflation, what do you expect? Just try the lunch, but it's only good Monday through Friday, not...
Read moreCame here for my brother's birthday with a party of 12, it wasn't busy at all but the service was quite non existent /HORRIBLE. After the waiter took our orders and brought our soups out, he never tried to help us again. He didn't bring out any drinks we ordered, when I reminded him, he tells me he forgot. When he finally serves the drinks, he only serves half and acts confused that he forgot the drinks AGAIN. After this, I never saw the waiter unless I got up to hunt him down and ask for more drinks. The service was so bad, I ended up being a waiter to my own table, having to get up and get the most basics of things like napkins or chopsticks or spoons. Waiter never came to check on us, never checked if we needed refills, never checked if we were enjoying food. Never checked on us EVER. I knew the food was self serve but didn't realize the service was too. The food was good but not good enough to have this kind of service. Avoiding...
