RUINED MY SONS BIRTHDAY. I booked a birthday party a month in advance. I received multiple confirmations, a phone call a week prior telling me what all to expect and be included, and 5 days prior another confirmation call to confirm food and beverages. 4 days before the birthday party I called to asked a question about the room, I was told then Iād have to cancel the party. AFTER all the confirmations I received, and even with speaking to someone in cooperate the day prior. Urban Air ALLOWED someone else to book the entire park for the day over all other existing birthday parties for that day. Clearly they felt someone elseās $ was more important than already paid for scheduled customers. After calls to cooperate, owners, GMs, NO body helped or assistant me. NOR showed any remorse. NO ONE called to tell me my party was canceled nor to rescheduled. My 5 year old son BALLED having to have his birthday party canceled. I was mortified to have to call all who were invited and tell them it was rescheduled. When rescheduled and arrived I was not given the private room as promised and paid for, nor the food or beverages, they charged my GUEST for EMPTY styrofoam cups. Worst experience Iāve ever had, I was only offered $50 off for the entire experience. If I had not called four days before the party to ask if a banner would fit in the party room⦠A silly question I would have had no idea they canceled my sonās party without any information to myself⦠I wouldāve showed up with the entire party crew, and been mortified and embarrassed. More than I already was. My party host was never to be found, did not help decorate and did not help clean up. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe front desk is almost always empty. Both times I needed help I had to wait. Also, as a new mom of 2 it was our first outing. While checking out, my bag fell and spilled everywhere. The front desk gal giggled and did nothing but try to hide that she laughed. While another customer helped me pick my things up. At the time, I wasnāt fully prepared to unload on a kid half my age. But since you sent me a survey, Iām happy to give my feedback. Almost every single staff member is on their phones at all times. You can scan a room from the corner and see all the carelessness. Pretty sad about the safety measures taken for adults and kids as well. At least at Chuck E. Cheese they have a solid plan for keeping kids and adults tracked together with arm ink/numbers. To make sure no kid leaves with the wrong adult. This Urban Air is wide open, and with the front desk gal not at her stand, or even in sight, itās unsettling as a parent. The music when we first walked in was absolutely inappropriate for the ages present. Horrible management decision to let go on. Despite signs and numerous employees- I still had to be the one to ask to have the big kids removed from the small kids area after wildly overwhelming my 3 year old to the point of tears. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went to Urban Air in Ardmore OK. The gps didnāt take us to the correct location. So I called, we arenāt from there. The manager stayed on the phone with me until I could see the park. Upon arrival the young lady at the desk was so great with my children and patient. They were so excited and pointing at everything. She patiently waited for them to get their socks on to band them. And, told them she hopes they had a great time. Derrick at the rockwall climb was amazing with my 2yo. I was in shock how great and well mannered he was with him. He had tried three times but didnāt want to, then was just so excited about it. He helped him the whole time and just let him do what he was comfortable with. So sweet. The young man at the concession stand was so polite. Then thereās the Manger. I have never met someone who has such great relationships with ALL his co workers. You can tell the really enjoy working for him and love their jobs. It shows in everything the whole ENTIRE staff does. They are always smiling, talking to one another, helping each other out, and great with each child there. I personally went to the Manager and told him we will from now on make the drive from TX to OK to come to this park. He has His store perfect. Iām so glad we made the trip. Really feel like my kids enjoyed everything and it wasnāt just the activities, itās their whole staff too!!! ...
