Cantina Lime Cocina & Copas — Restaurant in Ardmore

Unfortunately, my experiences here haven’t been great. On my first visit, I ordered the combo fajitas and the chicken came out raw. When I brought it up, the waiter asked if I wanted them to cook it more — I said, “No, just cook it properly.” I decided to give the restaurant another try last week with my daughter, but again, it was a disappointing visit.

Our server, who was working hard and kind, didn’t speak English, which made communication really difficult. Sadly, the food wasn’t good either. The salsa had a very unusual flavor — definitely an acquired taste, and not for me.

On the bright side, we tried the churros at the end of the meal, and they were actually delicious — easily the best thing we had there.

It’s a real shame because the interior is beautiful and the place has so much potential. I just can’t justify spending my hard-earned money on poor food and...

New restaurant at the Ted’s location, newly renovated to match the style of restaurant with a warm feel. This place had nice bar area and plenty of seating options. The service was prompt, friendly and always checking on us. The chips and salsa are good, could’ve had a bit more of kick / heat to it imo. Wife ordered the Carne Guisada, which is steak strips cooked in a ranchero sauce..that was amazing! Great flavor, tender meat, definitely recommend. I had the enchiladas Rojas, chicken enchiladas with guijillo sauce, it was okay not bad. I wish chicken enchiladas had some type of sauce mixed with the chicken so it’s not so dry but that’s just me. For desert we shared the Mexican chocolate cheesecake with raspberry sauce on the side. Delicious! Overall we would stop again and try a different menu item. Has plenty of parking so no worries there...

My girlfriend and I ate here yesterday for the first time and it was amazing! Exceeded my expectations as I haven’t heard too much about this place. We started off with the queso dip, which was lovely and topped with pico. The salsa is a bit spicy but it is also great. Then we ordered a smoked pineapple margarita and that was top tier. We ordered Birria Tacos (which does not come with consumé, but they might be able to scoop you some from the back if you ask. These came with great avocado salsa over the top of them and they are the best food item I’ve had in Ardmore so far after a few months being here. The rice was good, the beans were great. This will now be our go-to-spot from now on. Everyone I’ve asked has raved about it, so I’m not sure why there is always such an empty parking lot. I...
