The initial conversation and arrangements on what I wanted and expected for my event was great. The man that helped me was very informative and said he could get me everything I wanted. I didn’t want to have to worry about a thing and he assured me that he had it covered. The day before the event I called to confirm everything, I was told they ran out of beer cups, I was getting cases of coke cans (not what I requested) and they gave me such a hard time about the delivery “widow”. I tried to stay calm and ran to sams to get cup for all the drinks I had requested. I mean I could have bought the sodas at sams had I known that’s what they were going to give me. I called back to give them the venue managers number and assure them that someone would be there when they showed up, the minute he answered the phone I hear in the back round “yea it’s her again” followed with laughter. I was Mortified, they were so rude I was in tears. Not the stressed I needed the day before a big event! I will not be using them again and definitely would not...

Kool Keg is a sister bar to Hooligan's which is just around the corner and down a walking alley. Kool Keg is the craft beer and growler bar you always wanted but didn't know was there. It's a small, wonderfully appointed, classy bar that just feels right every time you walk in. The management very obviously cares about not just beer, but the entire beer experience and have made sure that the staff is up to snuff. The Digital Pour menu on the all (alongside the Digital Pour app) gives you an easy snapshot of what's on tap. And the state-of-the-art draught and counter-fill wall is a sparkling joy to behold. The staff always uses appropriate glassware for the style (Spiegelau for the greater part) that has been immaculately cleaned and rinsed before the pour which means you will almost always get the proper amount of head on your beer. This place is AMAZING for multiple reasons.

First, the bartenders and managers seriously care about everyone who walks through the door. They really do treat everyone like family.

Second, the atmosphere is great. They keep the music low so that you can actually converse with whomever you're in conversation with. Everything about this bar radiates formality without pretentiousness from the unique bar chairs to the brick walls.

Third, the affordability of the products. They offer several sizes so that you can try a little or a lot without getting full.

Finally, the selection! Taps rotate so much that you'll never have the same beer twice (unless you want to)!
