I had no idea how big the footprint of this church is, but they are doing exactly what they been to be doing for the community and more. My family and I have been without running water/electricity/cell service for a couple of weeks, due to hurricane Helene, and I was lucky enough to run up on their “free grocery store” while looking for water distribution places. I got to speak with a few of the people who were volunteering from out of town and they are all so genuinely interested in giving back to the people who have been impacted. If they don’t have what you need, they are willing to network and try to find it for you. I don’t know who was helping me, but I was looking for a belt for a person who’s now homeless, and when I couldn’t find one - the volunteer took his belt off and handed it to me to give to the man. Such a selfless act!! It is so so nice to feel the love and see people working together! Thank God my home and family weren’t hurt badly, but the people at hope church are truly making a difference in the lives of so many people. Thank you for all you are doing - it’s so...
