I overall had a great experience here! The front desk guy came off as a little rude at first (or it may have just been a language barrier) but the lady that actually did my nails was pleasant, accommodating, and did a great job on my pedi/waxing! They're also very affordable compared to other AVL nail salons I've visited. I was their last customer for the night and accidentally left my Stanley cup behind and they kept it safe for me until I could come back to retrieve it the following day, so extra kudos for that as well! I will definitely be coming back again, thanks again for the great service!
Edit: Normally I enjoy coming here but tonight I had a new technician and the attention to detail was lacking. I came in at 5pm for a french pedi & mani. Maybe because it was the end of the day they were rushed (even though google/their sign says they close at 7pm, theyâve told me before that they close at 6pm so iâm not sure what time they actually close). Nevertheless, i had to ask her to fix my big toe tip and she said âit was fineâ. I the french line was uneven, it wasnât fine - she reluctantly fixed it. Then during my manicure i noticed 2 minor spots on the french tips on my right hand that could use a slight touchup so i mentioned it twice and she ignored it. I also showed a pic for my mani requesting square tips - the only finger thatâs square is my thumb so it doesnât even match my other fingers which are round tips. So whatever, iâll deal with all that i guess. After spending $100+ on nails, the customer should be happy in the end and tonightâs experience didnât make me feel that way.    Read moreThis place is ridiculous! Never going back. I called them and made a same day appointment and told them exactly what I wanted to get done. Manicure with acrylic and they said it would be 30$. As soon as I walked in I was spoken to in such a rude way as if my presence annoyed the man. I had some anxiety that he would be the one doing my nails because he had already made me feel uncomfortable; while I sat down he was very rude and talked to me like I was an idiot. I dont remember his name but pretty sure he's an owner. He was very rough with my nails and when I accidentally moved my finger he quickly snapped saying "dont move how many times do I have to say it" it was so uncomfortable. I even told him I wanted my nails less squared, more round and he didnt even do it! Afterwards they told me it will be 45$ I couldn't believe it! I let them know that I spoke to someone on the phone & they told me what I wanted done was going to be 30$. All that night my nails especially my thumbs were so sore. I've been getting my nails done & have never had 1. This horrible experience and 2. Roughness resulting in sore fingernails. It's been a week and one nail already broke off. Just by me picking up a hot sauce bottle?! Never again. Do not recommend!

   Read moreI am in Asheville on vacation with my mom, and we always get pedicure when we get to spend time together. Mom booked our pedicures online, a week in advance, both "Deluxe Infinity Collagen Pedicure".
When we got there, the man at the counter did not greet us, and quickly passed my mom off to another tech after she said we booked appointments. After I picked my color and sat down in the chair, the only thing he said to me was, "Are you working today?" I said no, and then he didn't speak to me the rest of the time. He did not ask to check what service I booked, and gave me a basic pedicure and not the package we booked. In contrast, my mom's nail tech checked with her on the service she was getting and gave her a fantastic massage. My tech did not even put a clear coat over my polish. The whole pedicure was less than 30 minutes. While my mom was still getting her service for the correct pedicure and I was just waiting, he was just on his phone at the nail bar, not doing anything. At the end when I went to pay, he took the $40 said, "thank you", not offering my change. He just assumed I was going to tip him. Terrible.
