I have been bringing my VW vehicle to Broadway Volkswagen since I purchased it and service has up until this year been pretty good. However when I brought the vehicle in for a diagnosis in January 2023 I was informed I needed a suspension repair, which I scheduled for the following week. I took time off work the following week to come in for my appointment however after spending an hour in their waiting room I was informed that the wrong part was delivered and my vehicle was not repaired. This should have been known before I took time off work to come it and waste an hour in their waiting room. Fast forward almost two months and the correct part comes in and I schedule a repair. I again take time off work to come it only to get a call on my way in informing me that the parts have not been fully delivered thus I am unable to get it repaired. I had to have the vehicle brought back home to sit in my garage until all parts are delivered. Again the service department should have known not all parts were delivered before I wasted my time and money to try and get the vehicle to the dealership for repair. When I asked how it was not known all the parts needed for the repair had not been delivered until I was on my way to my appointment the the employee could not answer as she was just relaying the message about my appointment cancellation. I also want to mention that the parts needed to repair my vehicle are part of recall in which my vehicle fits the description of the vehicles in the recall notice however for some reason my vehicle is not included. The dealership is unable to explain why my vehicle is not part of the recall other than say the VIN number is not listed for the recall.
The lack of information given to their customer, repeatedly scheduling appointment and not completing the repairs or cancelling with virtually no notice, and having someone not familiar with my vehicle or its issues relay messages and cancel appointments is not good...

Maybe itâs just coincidenceâŚ. OR is it??
Most recent: feb 2025 wife and I bought a car at bergstrom VW in Green Bay. We were reluctant to purchase any extra warranty coverages. we finally agreed to get a dent and lost key warranty as it was not very expensive. THEN I had to head off to work and my wife was there alone to âfinish up paperworkâ well in comes ANOTHER crack at a warranty this time for a $3000 one.
She said âno my husband probably wouldnât go for that since he was reluctant on the othersâ and they replied âif you decide you donât want it you can always cancel itâ.
No hey, âyou may want to give him a call to see what he saysâ just a âjust get it and you can cancel itâ
So she agrees to it. She leaves dealership and shows me the car and says âI got this warranty but we can cancel itâ we went right back to the dealership and asked them cancel it. WE WERE BACK THERE WITHIN A HALF HOUR.
They said it would be taken care of. Well TWO MONTHS HAVE PASSED and they still have not removed it. Many calls back and forth with us calling the warranty place only for them to tell us the dealership has to be the ones to cancel it.
They wanted to drag their feet on it and didnât want to cancel it because it was at the end of the month. If the service contract goes through they get paid.
Other terrible experience was 3 years ago and they called me to request that I take down my review. My 70 year old mother in law was trading in her vehicle at the bergstrom in Neenah.
I told her I wanted to be there to help her out and make sure it went smoothly and they treatebbd her fairly. They low balled her so bad on the trade offer and I talked her out of trading it at bergstrom. We posted the car for sale and we had A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP buy the car outright from her for $2500 MORE than they were going to give her for her trade...
Read moreOur family received an offer from Volkswagen inviting us to turn in our lease early. The offer was a Loyalty promotion. The email also stated VW would waive the security deposit on a new vehicle as well as the turn in fee. After receiving the email we decided to check out Bergstrom in Green Bay, WI and see what was on the lot. At Bergstrom Green Bay, we were told we did qualify for the promotion. We sat at the dealership for over 2 hours thinking we were going home with a new car. However, we were eventually informed that since it was a Saturday, and after 2 pm, VW could not provide the necessary code to close the deal and we would have to come back on Monday. Later that day our salesperson, Sal Robles, informed us that it would take a few days for VW to provide the loyalty bonus code. It actually took 2 weeks for Bergstrom to get back to us and that was after multiple excuses about VW. When we finally signed the paperwork, there was no Loyalty bonus. Instead we were told they had to jump through many hoops to provide us with a friends and family discount which was lower than the VW Loyalty promotion. We were also required to provide a security deposit and the final car payment we signed for was substantially higher than the original quote we received. The financial person actually asked us if this was ok. The store manager laughed when I told him the situation was rather shady. He told us a Milwaukee dealership honored the VW Loyalty promotional offer for multiple customers and lost money so all he could do was give us VW 2 water bottles. My husband and I are long time VW customers. This recent purchase was number 9 for us so it is disheartening that we came into a Volkswagen dealership under false pretenses. Clearly, VW and Bergstrom dropped the ball as our car buying experience was less...
