We heard about this place from a friend and we decided to drive the 1.5 hours to come check it out. Food was amazing, delicious, loved it. Service not so amazing. We see a lot of good reviews about Oche but unfortunately we didn’t really get the best service from him. We got seated and was told by Oche he will be with us in a few. Alright, that’s fine. 5 mins goes by and he asked us what we would like to drink we gave him our drink order and we were ready to order right away as well. We gave him our order and my 1 year old son was coloring on the window with a washable crayon that was provided by the restaurant. I get it, I shouldn’t have let him do that but I wasn’t really paying any attention since I was looking down at my menu giving my order to Oche. As I was ordering he says “he’s coloring on the window” I then stopped my 1 year old from doing so. Then Oche left brought us our drinks and then I was like “im sorry I forgot to add for calamari as a appetizer” he proceeded as like it was a pain in the butt for him? But after he brought us our food he sat the plates down and then accidentally kicks my 1 year old sons high chair and then brings his food out about 5 mins later? After that we were never checked on, never got refills or asked for refills, never received our check. We had to go up to the counter and ask for our check and then was told by the host there was a complimentary ice cream with our meal and if we still wanted it. I told the host that our food was good but service was not. He looks down and smirks and apologizes. Again, great food but service from Oche was terrible. A grown man holding a grudge because my 1yo son drew on the...
Read moreWhen we walked in, we were seated right away. There weren't many people in the restaurant for dinner at all, but it was about 15+ minutes before a server came over to take our drink order. We gave her our food order and appetizer order at that time as well. Our order was done and brought out to us in a little over 15 minutes. We ordered the 1lb of snow crab legs in butter garlic sauce, Option A in Cajun sauce, a fish sandwich and fries, and cheese curds. Everything came hot and was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The seafood came in metal pans, which worked great. Plus, they gave us rubber gloves and tools to crack the crab legs, bibs, and wetnaps. Wear the gloves. They were fabulous, so your hands stay clean. I will say the garlic butter sauce was a bit much after a while. I don't think I will get that sauce next time we order from there. My husband loved the Cajun sauce with his option A, though. We also placed an order for option B with butter garlic mild Cajun sauce to go. The to go order came sealed in a big heavy plastic bag, and they put that in a paper bag along with rubber gloves, a bib, and wetnaps. Even after a 15 minute drive home, the to go order stayed warm. The person that ate it really enjoyed it but said the mild Cajun was too hot for her so she wouldn't order that again. Next time we go, we'd like to try option X for our table, if they still offer it. Option X was a special offer they had written on a board by the register. Overall, it was a great place,...
Read moreSo my girlfriend and I stopped here to eat dinner the other day. The parking lot had 1 open spot, so I started backing into the parking spot. There was a vehicle next to mine in which people were standing next to and I kindly waited for them to move out of the way while they were talking and the kids were getting in the car. After waiting and seeing they were not going to move I slowly started backing into the parking spot. The older lady just looked at me and the rear door to there vehicle was open. I beeped my horn to let them know I was backing in. The older Hispanic woman continued to stare me down like I was in the wrong. I finally got backed into the space and as soon as opened my door the older lady confronted me cussing me out along with 2 other Hispanic woman who I assume were her daughters. One of them actually threw her drink in my face. After a very heated debate we attempted to enter the restaurant but one of the woman followed us in, she was a short and very BIG Hispanic girl, who was one of the woman arguing with me. She claimed to be the general manager and told us we were not able to come in. As we were leaving the older Hispanic woman said to never come back to "her" restaurant. So I'm not sure if she was the owner or just trying to make fake claims. If she is the owner that's one hell of a way to run a restaurant. Anyways, if you do go here to eat just be cautious as to the kind of people that work here and claim...
