I would like to start off by saying that I’m not usually a person that sits around and writes reviews of places that I’ve been, however, I cannot in good conscience not warn future customers of the impending horrible customer service that they will undoubtedly receive at this location. I will start off by criticizing the wait time and the waiting area. If someone calls close to 40 minutes in advance to book a spot and they say it’ll be a 45 minute wait from that point, they shouldn’t have to wait an additional 45 minutes after the given 45 minute wait. Now this is not Olive Gardens fault in the sense they can’t help that it’ll be busy at 7 p.m., however, I don’t think it would be unreasonable to give realistic wait times in the future. Maybe my family and I would have gone somewhere else and had to not deal with the horrible customer service that awaited us. But we toughed it out as we had drove almost 40 minutes to specifically eat here and to celebrate a birthday and my engagement. Now the first part of our meal went okay. Orders were taken, drinks were served, and our appetizers, bread sticks, and salads/soups came out without a hitch. It was quite good, especially after an absurd long wait time, almost making up for it. But then the problems started with the entrees. Now, as I’ve stated it was quite busy and I was with a large party, so a mistake here and there could be expected. So when one of my party was given the wrong entree, It wasn’t that big deal at first because we were told it was an accident and we’d get the right item, right away. Sounds good right? WRONG. It took nearly 15 minutes to get the correct item and from that point on our waiters became extremely incompetent. We weren’t getting refills, other meal items, etc. At one point we waited for an hour and half from initial asking time for a refiling of bread sticks. Now the biggest issues came at the end of our meal. We had to wait 20 minutes after everyone was done eating to get our bills and of course they were messed up. The member of our party was charged for the extra item she received and for something someone else in our party had received. We were told, they would fix it right away. Sounds good right? WRONG AGAIN. We had to wait close to 45 minutes of going back and forth with the incompetent waiters to get the bills fixed and still having been wrong. We asked to speak with a manger 30 minutes into the wait time, however, no manager ever came. So did the waiters even ask them to come? Or was it another request like all night long that they ignored? Finally very disgruntled and tired as it had become quite late, our party paid the wrong priced bill(s) just to get off there. Not a single employee: waiter/waitress, bartender, manager, hostess wished us a goodnight nor asked us how our visit was. In all the food was quite decent, I’d give it 4.2 out of 5. However, the foods high priced, and part of being a higher price food place is not just food quality but it’s the experience that you get at eating at such a place. I give the experience and the waiters 1 out of 5 each. The fact that a manager couldn’t even spare time to come speak with us should be alarming. Many of my party, including myself having worked in the food industry in the past and one of us having even worked at an Olive Garden in the past, we can tell you that the customers happiness should be the number one priority and clearly at this location it is not. I will openly admit that I will no longer be visiting this location and maybe Olive Garden in general in the near future, if ever. Do yourself a favor and visit a real establishment that openly wants your business...
Read moreToday was the most disappointing Olive Garden experience I have ever had.
My daughter and I walked in and were greeted by to very nice guys that seated us That all went well). Our waitress came to the ta le and we ordered our food. I asked for no vinaigrette and no blue cheese on my head, my daughter got the Tour Of Italy (her favorite). We were brought out food, mi e has a vinaigrette sauce on my Alfredo (something I said I did not want) but no blue cheese so I figured I would just deal with it. My daughter started eating hers and said the Alfrado was grainy like if we went to the beach and sand blew into our food. I tried mine and it was the same situation. As I am trying to get someone's attention (they were huddled in the bar area watching the packer game) and our waitress was eating at the bar in between waiting tables.
I asked for new Alfredo and she said she would have to get someone, then what I am assuming was a manager came over with an attitude and said what is the issue. I explained my Alfredo had a vinaigrette on it that make it taste awful and it was grainy and my daughter only to 2 bites and said it was grainy and she did not want it. She took my daughters plate and said she wouldntake it off the bill (that did not rectify my order by any means. I then asked if I could get a to go container for the artichoke dip and my soup, I was brought a tiny cup to put the soup in (did not even fit the soup I had and then I packed up the dip. I asked if I could get a bag. I was told those were the to go containers and they walked away. My daughter and I got up to leave and I tried to open the door and the soup co gainer slide off of the other one and hit the floor, I went to pick it up and the manager came back over once again with another attitude of irritation and stared at me, I looked at her and said and this is why when some asks for a bag it should be provided. I was told to have a nice day
Employees should not be gathered around in the place of work watching a football game and eating in between waiting tables when there is a job to due. Olive Garden is usually my to go to place to eat whenever we have the opportunity and this was absolutely awful, there were 2 other couples comeing in as we were leaving I told her she should go to the Appleton Olive Garden by the mall and ask for Tanner as their waiter we were there yesterday (the food, the staff and the atmosphere was impeccable and exactlywhat you would expect), I know at least one group turned around and went back to...
Read moreWe had been wanting to go back to Olive Garden for awhile now and so we finally were in the area and decided to give Olive Garden another shot after 8-9 months ago when I was served food with a chunk of cardboard cooked in it. Well this time wasn't great either. We put ourselves on the online waitlist and when our table was ready we walked inside and smiled when we walked in the door. The response we got was just a cold blatant stare from three young teens. We told them we were on the online waitlist and they just said "follow me". She sat us at a table and walked away. No "your server will be with you shortly" and no asking if I need a booster or highchair. Just nothing. After that we were like whatever our server will be here shortly. NOPE. 20 minutes after sitting there (about to get up and leave) our server showed up. He asked for our drink order very unenthused like he didn't want to be there, as well as not apologizing for making us wait a very long time,. We ordered the strawberry passion fruit limenota drinks. When we had got them it looked nothing like the past. Very clear like there was no flavor in there and when we drank it, it was almost pure seltzer tasting. We sent them back and got a new one and a coke. The server brought two new limonatas and no coke. They were fine but took 15 minutes to get them. When we ordered our food we both ordered soups and the server brought one soup and one salad. The soup was cold and thick like it wasn't warmed. Sent the salad back and got soup and that was also cold. The server sprinkled cheese on it and got cheese all over the table and my fiancés lap. We also got an appetizer that was fine. Shortly after we got our food. Shrimp scampi with not fully cooked shrimp and five cheese ziti al forno that was lukewarm. We didn't say anything just said can we get boxes. Got two small boxes that hardly fit our food and one sauce container even tho I had two sauces. The bread was hard and dry with hardly any butter on it. Everything we ordered or asked for took 15-20 minutes to get. When the check came the server had charged us an extra soup when the soup came with the meal. The salad that came out was his fault for bringing instead of the soup. He had also put 4 limomatas on the check. So all in all my bill was way more than I ordered with his mistakes. I paid and left with a very small tip bc it was absolutely horrendous service. The food was okay warmed up when...
