Very disappointed with the lack of quality and love put into food. On Monday (3/28/16) I ordered two things: a curry chicken meal and a chicken patty with coco bread. The portion was decent but the taste was not up to Caribbean standards. The coco bread was small, kinda tough and dry and the patty was not great; I was given the wrong patty (looked like cabbage inside so I'm assuming it was veggie) and that was skimpy in terms of filling. The chicken didn't look nor taste like chicken; it looked like a mutated half drumstick and half ox tail but without either taste and the meat was rough (tasted cheap). The only reason I didn't return the food was because I didn't want to waste anymore time and money going back.

If you want really good, not as authentic but close to it and reasonably priced food with great portions for your money that's South Atlanta (near West End), I would strongly recommend going on Old National Highway (College Park) and checking out this spot called Tropical Cuisine (4899 Old National Hwy, Atlanta, GA) located in an old shopping plaza behind Chevron and Texaco. It's 20 minutes away but worth it. The patties are well stuffed and fresh (usually sell out so buy a couple), coco bread is soft and moist and the meals are huge portions at good prices. I don't ever write reviews about restaurants but I had to write one about Caribbean Delights because they need to step it up (used to be decent years ago) and stop making their food as if we don't have other options to choose from in terms of Caribbean restaurants. No excuse for...

They are always on point. Hot and delicious! However, sometimes the plantains can be nasty and dry and sometimes they don't (I guess it depends on who the cook is that day, my plantains today was not burnt but they were kind of dry) but if your not really into plantains, then it don't matter but the food is AWESOME.

I have been going here for a while now and I have had Curry Goat, Curry Chicken, and Oxtails with Rice & Peas and Cabbage. I have not tried the Fish or Jerk Chicken only because I don't really care for extra spicy foods nor fish.

Medium and Large sizes are BIG. It usually takes me 2 days to eat the large cuz it's so meaty. But sometimes it takes me 2 days to eat the medium only if I'm not that hungry. Coco Bread and Patties are good and everything is priced so well.

I don't suggest that you dine in cuz the restaurant is small with only 2 or 3 tables and it's so dark inside and it feels depressing so definitely take out only. However, beware of parking! There's a limited amount of parking spaces and so many shops in that plaza that it can get crowded. Parking is right off the street and since its across from the West End Mall, sometimes traffic can get nasty.

This place also delivers and I had my food delivered twice. First time they forgot my drink, so they refunded that back to me and the second time everything was on point and both drivers were nice and quick with delivery.

In all I give them a 5 star because their food...

I ordered through DoorDash. I’ve never left a review but I was pretty disappointed. I ordered a plate with rice and peas, oxtails and greens, and another plate with chicken stew, yams, yellow rice and white rice. The did not have the yams or greens, and reimbursed me, they didn’t have the chicken stew and didn’t tell me, they just gave me an order of oxtails and red beans and rice with cabbage as a side, they didn’t have the yellow rice or white rice and didn’t tell me about the second plate not being available, and they didn’t give any plantains on either order. So I basically received 2 orders that were the same: oxtails, rice and beans and cabbage, no plantains. I did get my beef patties and cocoa bread that I ordered but everything was utterly disappointing to say the least. This place is way too expensive to be this flippant with peoples food as well as their time. I was leaving atl to go home so I had no time to stop and wait, someone was asking me to buy them food when I got there, and I just wanted to go home. However, to the restaurant owners that don’t have the requested food items and only select items pls reach out to the customer, don’t wait until they get there for them to find out you have replaced their order entirely, esp in that...

Solid classics available late. There’s a few options for Jamaican in the neighborhood, but this one does value and convenience best. Oxtail plate was massive and included cabbage, rice and peas, and a couple plantains. Everything on this plate could have benefitted from a little more cook time. The oxtail, while soft and easily taken off the bone, lacked the depth of flavor and texture that comes from cooking low and slow. The cabbage and rice and peas still had some crunch. The plantains seemed like they hadn’t been allowed to fully ripen. As far as bang for buck, this plate was well worth the price. I got 3 full meals out of it. I wouldn’t order the additional sides of mac and cheese or yams again. The mac is Caribbean casserole-style, basically just pasta and one kind of cheese. The yams seemed like they might’ve come from a can. Also got a spicy chicken patty that was fine, if a little dry/left out too long. I was a little disappointed by the key lime dessert being a cake instead of pie, as the menu gave no indication of which to expect. All in all, I’d give this place a second chance. Sometimes you need a patty and oxtail gravy at midnight, and this place makes it easy to get. 3.5 but let’s round up.

I hate to do this because I love supporting local businesses... but do not listen to anything other than the 1 star reviews. As many mentioned, WAY too salty. All you can taste is salt. Never tasted so much salt in one meal. The cabbage was the most edible thing, and it still tasted like pure salt. The Mac n Cheese was a disgrace and they should be ashamed they even sent it. Pictures attached. They literally take cooked noodles, add a pinch of shredded cheese, and microwave it. NO SAUCE. Just bare noodles and cheese. They over microwaved mine and the noodles shrunk and turned rock hard. It’s a HARD no for me!

I just left a a different Caribbean restaurant who had a sad pathetic looking veggie plate OH BUT THIS ONE HERE AT CARIBBEAN DELIGHT!!! The plate includes rice n peas, cabbage, yams, green beans, greens, plantains, corn and beans (although mine were missing, but she promised me a double portion the next time. It was tasteful, not spicy or hot and I didn't feel like my blood pressure was about to go through the roof. And they didn't put meat gravy on my plate. I will definitely be back.
