First of all, don't go by the hours on Google that say an evening time to midnight because that's not the case. Because we saw a review that said call first, that's what we did each time before trying to get to them. We're from out-of town and tried to go to this donut shop THREE TIMES, calling before each time. Sunday, we called before heading there and he said he'd be open until 7:30p which we thought was odd because Google says that they're open until midnight. But when we got there at 7:18, the shop was locked up and the door said they closed at 7p. Tuesday, we called early in the day and he said that he would be open by 5:30p, we got there close to 6p and he still wasn't there. We called again and he stated he needed 15 more minutes. So we walked to a near by store and came back almost 45mins later and he still wasn't there. When we called again, he didn't answer so we took an uber back to our AirBNB. Because it's my bffs birthday trip and she REALLY wanted these donuts because she's alkaline, I called when we got back to see if he was there and if he was on uber eats or door dash, which he said he is, which is why he got a second star.
Second of all, as a black woman, I am ALWAYS trying to support black owned businesses but at some point, our businesses have to do better with punctuality and service. I understand things happen but we are now on our 4th attempt to try these donuts.
Third of all, sir, please update Google to reflect the business hours that are on your door or update your door to reflect the business hours on Google....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I come into town, I love stopping by here. If there's ever a doughnut that you need in your life, this is it. I'm so glad I found them. Great people with amazing vegan, gluten free, sugar free, organic doughnut and cinnamon rolls topped with fresh local, organic fruit. This isn't even like it's the bad kind of gluten free either. He uses coconut flour instead of other gluten free flours that are high on the glycemic scale. He sweetens with coconut shavings. Every time I visit him he has a new and unique flavor. Very fancy. Seriously, I've been there 3 times in the last 2 days, and every time there's a different flavor. This man is a genius. He's definitely got it going on. It's really nice to eat outside of the house and feel good about what you're eating. I'm hooked. My family is hooked. This place gives a sense of normality to having food standards. When I visit, there's usually 2 brothers who are working. It's located at the side of the building with Rasta colors everywhere. He just got this place and is working on it, but the quality of food is his first priority. These guys are awesome. I visit every single time I'm in Atlanta. Which is actually more often now. My boyfriend works in Atlanta and it's a 5 hour drive one way. These doughnuts and cinnamon rolls give me more incentive to visit my boyfriend. I'm so grateful to have come across these guys. The older brother cooks vegan food on the weekend. Amazing stuff. It's totally worth...

Walking in the door i discovered that it really wasnt a doughnut shop, but a place that HAS doughnuts. Literally one tray of doughnuts, about a dozen or so. All wrapped in plastic sandwich bags. I guess they do other things there like smoothies and such, according to google, but i didnt see a menu or anything signifying that this was any kind of cafe or restaurant...it just looked like some multi-purpose space used for a variety of things.
Well, I figured since i was there I'd at least try them. I picked a banana and cinnimon yeast doughnut and a covered cinnamon roll...the nice young man said $10. To say i was taken aback would be an understatement. I decided to just get the yeast doughnut which was only $3 on it's own (I'm sorry, vegan or not, no cinnamon roll is worth $7). I got into my car and opened the baggie (most of whatever the glaze was ended up more on the baggie than the doughnut), and bit into it. It honestly tasted at least a day old, if not two, and was fairly dry and flavorless.
I cannot reccomend this...
