I completed a virtual tour of the property back in August but decided to go not to proceed with an application. For weeks, I was contacted relentlessly by their third-party Leasing Agents. Sometimes twice per day. On 8/22, I was contacted by one of their third-party Leasing agents who inquired if I was still interested. I advised her that I was still interested, but had already scheduled movers for 9/1/21. I explained that Iād already had to reschedule my move once and if 8 days would be long enough for their approval process. I was told that it would be more than enough time processing my application. Well to make a long story short, after having tons of issues completing my application online, I was able to get it submitted the following day 8.23. Upon reaching out to the leasing office multiple times on multiple days for an update, I was finally able to speak with the leasing manager Kali two days later who explained she needed my pay stubs and bank statements. I immediately provided them as request. Kali advised she would process my application and follow-up. I never heard back from Cali so two days so another 2 days later (8/27) I reached back out to her. She explained that sheād been busy preparing for their system to āGo Darkā. She then said she needed to complete rental history verification. She confirmed my move in date was 9/30 and said that she must complete rental history verification within the next two hours in order for my application to be fully processed before the system āGoes Darkā for a least a week.
I moved mountains to get my current property manager to stop what they were doing and complete Star Metals rental history verification form. I subsequently had a follow-up question for Kali and I called her back. She confirmed that everything had been received on time, that she was processing the application and that she would call me back once she was done.
I never heard back from Kali. This was the 4th time I was promised a call back and never received it. Around 7pm this same night, I received an email from Kali advising that āAs Discussedā more information was needed to complete my application and my moving date had been changed to 10/11. This was never what was discussed and was a lie.
The following day after at least 10 calls to the leasing office, I was about to speak with Les Brown, āproperty directorā. He basically told me there is nothing he would do or could do because their systems are down for at least the next 12 days. He then explained that my application required additional time processing because my credit is Tier 2 vs Tier 1 which is not true. When I disputed the statement and asked which credit bureau he pulled from he advised didn't know as the information comes from a Third Party. I explained that I have credit monitoring with all three bureaus and my scores on all three are close to 700 which is far from Tier 2 credit. Furthermore, when I explained prior to applying that time is of the essence, no one certainly advised that depending on my credit rating, it may take more time to process my application.
As a result of the Leasing Managerās misinformation, lack of accountability, and lack of communication, I was forced to cancel my 9/1/21 move. I literally have no where to go. Iāve lost my $300 deposit for my movers. To add insult to injury, Les refused to even refund me the $100 application fee.
When I was contacted by Start Metals on Wed 9/22, I was ASSURED that there was more than enough time for the completion of the application process. Nobody ever mentioned anything about their system "Going Dark" for 10 days the following week. Nobody mentioned that an application can take additional processing time due to you having a Tier 1 or Tier 2 credit rating. Shame on Start Metals. I have filed a complaint with their corporate office and I will be pursing EVERY possible remedy...

Management - 2 stars Building - 5 stars Services - 2 stars Location - 5 stars
There has been a noticeable decline in the management, quality of customer service, and ease that comes with living in the building.
Residents pay some of the highest rents in the area, along with an "effortless living" fee. Despite this, the services offered fall short of the "Elite" level they promote.
Many building services are unreliable, communication and customer service with the (Spring 2025) manager and management team is stressful, protracted, and often leaves the resident at a loss -financially and otherwise.
Poor communication and coordination with the main office result in misdirection. Examples include confusion about changes in parking rules and unclear and conflicting lease renewal guidance.
In less than 6 months I have experienced over $500 in duplicate fees, mishandled and missing packages, and two unauthorized entries. Each situation required far more time and effort than was reasonable to resolve. The disposition of management was unapologetic; it is not clear what, if anything, has been done to prevent similar occurrences, and in each scenario, I had to request compensation or adjustment- none was offered.
The hospitality (concierge) front desk remains a favorite. They are a professional and a delightful counterbalance to the stressors above. Thank you Graylon, Tamiya (now in leasing), and the newest addition, Michael. You are true reflections of the excellence advertised. The building maintenance (Keven and others) and security staff are also very professional and make the building what it is.
Previous Review āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Note: Briana has been promoted and no longer works in the building.
Briana is an absolute gem! From the moment I met her, she made everything seamless and enjoyable. Her knowledge of the building's exceptional amenities and prime location was truly impressive. I travel globally and have met few like her. She went above and beyond during the entire experience.
The building itself is a masterpiece of thoughtful design, seamlessly integrating luxurious amenities. You're steps away from top dining, universities, and entertainment, making it a walker's paradise. You can catch glimpses of the sunset and have clear views of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Hawks arenaāboth are a straight shot and very accessible. The building's amenities are top-tier: a rooftop pool with stunning views, a state-of-the-art gym that rivals any premium fitness club, and stylish coworking spaces. The buildingās security is top-notch, and the seamless design makes the entire living experience feel luxurious and convenient.
What truly sets this building apart, however, is the incredible team. Robert, the Experience Manager, and the entire concierge staff create an atmosphere that feels like a permanent vacation.
Every interaction is a joy, and their dedication to resident satisfaction is evident. Briana is a shining example of this commitment, and her contributions make this building a truly special place. Her dedication and exceptional service make her a valuable asset, and sets her far apart...

Started off living here for work while I was on a project. I was in a furnished unit and at first things were fine. After I found out I was getting extended I tried to extend my stay only for the price to almost triple. I reached out to the corporate office/management multiple times and was told the price is the price so my job told me to just apply for an empty unit since it was more in line with what I had been paying.
I did. On the day I got my permanent keys there was a massive pool party with hundreds of people who did not live in the building. I received my keys at the top of April and genuinely it was so crazy. There was fighting. The police had to intervene. My leasing agent, Elizabeth was sprayed in the face with a water gun. I was nervous that I might have made a mistake. I was looking for a quiet, clean, and respectable place to live and it felt like right as I was getting settled, the veil had lifted. As time went on there were multiple fights. The pool was unusable and the building has a constant barrage of "short term stays". The leasing office is kind natured but clueless and unapologetic about being so. Different fees would pop up on my account and I was told similar to another review left here - that I was being charged because I wasn't paying my utilities despite having proof of the accounts and having to provide them to the office before I could move in.
To make matters worse - I got a new job and was told on several occasions that it was fine that my new job was covering my lease break fee along with my moving expenses. I paid my rent and other fees in full before the first of the month like I always do . The office maliciously credited that money towards the lease break but are now trying to file an eviction notice despite the fact that they accepted receipt of me moving, I have vacated, and there's confirmation that the lease break could be paid later this month. I am no longer in the apartment and left it spotless. They are playing with the ledger to get more money out of it. No one ever wants to own up to the wrong info and the building always has something terrible going on.
The fire alarms in the middle of the night. The drugs and condoms at the pool. The car break ins. The clueless leasing staff. Flooding in your apartment. Genuinely, I wish I had lived somewhere else while I was working in Atlanta. The experience with move out has been so unsavory. Mr. Allen and others are just...not the friendliest and never directly answer anything. High turn over at the desk. The casual nature in which these people are trying to evict me when I have done nothing but pay on time, over communicate, and properly declared my move out is just wild. Not worth your energy because believe me...you will expend a lot of it.
Honestly - live somewhere else. Not...
