The parking lot is super small so you will have to park on the street which is also very short. The parking lot is somewhat difficult to find so be sure to use your Google Maps. It takes you through a really nice neighborhood with huge old homes. The park itself is pretty cool. The playground has good stuff for kids - although most of it is in the Sun so plan to go early in the day in summer. They have a splash pad to cool off in before you head down the trail to the treehouse and then to see the 18 foot tall Troll. He’s amazing and worth the short walk. They also have plenty of tables to sit at and have...

My wife & I visited the Pease Park last month, enjoyed our walk, the nature, the dome shapes “tree house” with net which can be sat on, the 18-foot Marlin’s Magical Troll…it is another one of Austin’s many beautiful parks & trails. If you have free time, I definitely recommend visiting this park. Btw, the troll, Malin, is a Longhorn at heart, because her “skin” & “fur” were made from reclaimed wood which were derived from a retired water tank of J.J. Pickle Research Campus at the Austin University of Texas. Thomas Dambo is the...

If the expecations is to take little kids for a walk in the park and get them out of the house. This is for sure a good place for a walk. Have the kids play in the park and get an extra cool incentive to see something unique and different.

If the expectation is to see a world of trolls and additional activities, leave those expectations behind and don't even bother on going.

Otherwise, the troll is big an offers a cool...
