Green Hill Remodeling — Attraction in Austin

David and his team absolutely blew us away with the transformation of our backyard. What used to be a bland, underutilized space is now an oasis that feels like an extension of our home. From the moment we met him, David listened carefully to our vision and brought ideas to the table that elevated our expectations tenfold.

The firepit is our new favorite spot—it’s beautifully constructed and perfectly positioned for those cool evenings when we just want to kick back and unwind. We’ve already spent countless nights around it with family and friends, and it’s quickly become the heart of our outdoor gatherings.

The hardscaping, though… wow. The landscaping team worked magic. The stonework is meticulous, the layout flows effortlessly, and every detail feels intentional. You can tell this was crafted by someone who truly cares about their craft. Every time we step outside, we’re struck by how beautiful everything came out—it feels like we’re living in a magazine spread.

We’re beyond grateful to David for turning our backyard into something so special. It’s now our favorite “room” of the house, and we genuinely couldn’t recommend him...

We highly recommend Green Hill Remodeling. David and the whole crew are among the best teams we had working in our house in Austin. They did fix some decking issues and finishing issues we had on a composite deck built by another contractor, and they did a custom metal-cable railing on top of the deck, as well as along a staircase. They really showed empathy with our issues, and were very accommodating (as an example, the posts were supposed to be glossy black, and actually we changed our mind and asked them to match our color scheme, which they did after having bought the black paint). David always communicated when they would be on site, and the team was always timely. The team was respectful of the property, no loud music, no trash left on site. In addition to the railing, they also did fix some blocking issues on the deck frame. We are very happy with the final result. We love our deck now. Thank you, Green Hill Remodeling! I have been searching for someone to replace my old deck with composite wood, and add a pergola. After several bids and walk through with other companies I ended up going with Green Hill remodeling, mainly because I truly felt David really cared about my end result. He had open communication and was quick to respond. If I saw it on his site I would ask can we do it like this, but change that, and do this instead 😎 If something just couldn’t physically be done then they were great about letting me know and provided me with suggestions that met my needs. The crew worked hard and always answered any questions I had regardless how silly it might have been (and I had plenty - blame it on my OCD 😛). David and his crew did a fantastic job!
