Lakeline Mall — Attraction in Austin

Around 5 Pm , 18th of Feb , i got humiliated behavior from store owner (Indian lady) at this mall and Store name is "Waikiki" which is location at first floor. She was very rude to customers. Actually, I was checking t shirts and they did not had changing/trial room so i was confused with the size Small vs Medium. So i was taking some time to select tshirt. Meanwhile that lady was having arguments with another customer because of some defect product at counter where that customer was trying to return the defect product. They were having angry discussion but i did not pay much attention. But when that customer left that Indian lady directly came to me where i was checking t shirts and rudely with loud voice said "Don't mess with my t shirts ". She was trying to throw all the anger from last customer to me.I don't think she would treat me like that if i was some Strong US citizen, since i was Asian and she felt she can threat me. I left very bad and humiliation from her racist rude behavior. If she treats customers like her servants then i am afraid how she treats her employee. We work very hard at working days and sometimes in weekend, we visit malls to enjoy shopping but because of such rude and racist behavior, i am not going back to this Store "Waikiki" and not even this mall any more. I tried to add bad review to that store. Unfortunately this store is not even available for google view stuff. i tried to file a complain against that store lady to the leasing office at the mall. But the they said leasing office is closed and will open on Monday only.However, i don't want any other customer to go through such these kind of insult/inhuman/racist situation. So, can some one please help me report/complain about such rude behavior from store owner.

The mall is nice and clean inside. However the exterior is starting to run down. Sad. Most of the stores seem to cater to teens. There have been lots of changes since I was last here. The food court was the busiest part. One thing I noticed from walking around was people on their smart phones and I mean all ages and beer few with packages in hand. I fear that this mall is going to continue to decline. They need to realize that the teens don't have the disposable income to keep their stores open. I would suggest more events to make people want to visit the mall and make an evening of it.

One great thing is the theater closed in December. Yes that was good. It needed to. Amc bought it and they are reopening in the fall with all new seating and totally revamping it. The cost in the millions they claim. The seats will be leather recliner like Moviehouse and Eatery on Hwy 620. They have to step up and do it right as right beside it is packed all the time, Alamo Drafthouse.

I am including photos of between Sears and Dillard's. This is supposed to be inviting? Dirt beds, trash, plastic bottles. What an ugly mess. I couldn't help but take photos.

The only reason I give it 3 stars is the location is good. Sears Auto center is a plus as I have had good experiences with them. I have bought appliances there at Sears too. This mall had so much potential. The other negative is there are way too many apartments surrounding it now. It has caused a traffic nightmare in the mornings and evenings on Lakeline Blvd and dumps more cars in an already congested area.

As the trend continues. One Asian food place at the food court was boarded up. Subway was closed too. There still are 3 Asian food places there which I find extremely odd. There were 4. Are we in Asia?? They need to do better to attract different food places there.

The mall is good i go to the stores want to do business with me and buy stuff at the store i always buy stuff from the mall stores.the bad thing ever there is one store I will recommend not ever going there the sign say starting at $20 of cologne and perfume store the guy is I think he is hispicanic or Spanish guy he had a bad attitude to me and say what you want couple of times all because I walk out because no one was in the store i dont shop at a store without a employee to assist me to get me what i want to buy watchout for that guy!!he came back to the store to the door while I walk out of the store said what you want with a bad attitude!! Beware of that guy he have a really bad attitude to me and give me a dirty look and trying to start a problems against me.i dont play games at all i am serious and strict and straight forward!!I will take my $600 dollars cash & money and take my business someone else in the mall!!!the other stores will love to do business with me. Next time I go the mall I will get his store name and update my review to show what store to avoid!! I am a business person I buy stuff for myself and my family and my friend.
