Verbena Floral Design — Attraction in Austin

It was a delight working with Verbena Floral Design for our wedding day! My now wife, Janel, and I were planning a wedding in Austin for October 2016 living in Houston, and we visited Austin in March 2016 to visit 7 potential floral vendors. Throughout our day, my wife and I had no idea what we were doing, what flowers we liked, what types of flowers even existed on our planet, what season flowers were best shipped, etc. etc. etc. We were just having fun being completely lost together, and at the same time had no way knowing how to decide on our vendor. It was our very last stop at Verbena that sealed the deal when we met LuAnn. We were seated at a table decorated solely with previous couples’ Thank You cards, and I remember being a useless groom reading each individual one while my bride was answering a questionnaire with LuAnn during our consultation. For me, reading how great LuAnn and her team executed each couple’s wedding day and the appreciation they had for Verbena really made me feel like they cared about making the wedding day perfect for each individual couple. It was this personal touch that made our final decision easy. LuAnn and her team made us feel like royalty, like they were just focusing on our individual needs for our wedding, and really cared about making our wedding beautiful beyond our expectations. It felt like it wasn’t business for them but rather a true passion to make this one day perfect for us. I can’t stress how easy it was working with them. Communication was superb since we were planning a wedding in a different city, and LuAnn really planned EVERY individual floral detail and décor perfectly within our budget. I cannot express how thankful we are for Verbena for transforming our venue (Pavilion at Omni Barton Creek) into a dreamlike fairytale. It was perfect. We are still having withdrawals, and we truly miss communicating with LuAnn and her team regularly. We highly recommend Verbena Floral Design to be your floral vendor!!! I wish I could give Verbena 100 stars, because I can’t tell you enough how GORGEOUS and PERFECT my wedding flowers came out. I met with LuAnn about 2-3 times before my wedding to go over the vision I had in mind for my flowers. Despite hours of searching on pinterest and google, there was not a single photo I could find that matched exactly what I wanted for my own flowers. When I sat down with LuAnn, I showed her aspects of several photos I liked, such as these soft green eucalyptus leaves, those soft pink and peach roses and dahlias, that style of loose and gathered bouquets, and basically asked her to put all the bits and pieces into a bouquet that I had in mind. I have to admit it was pretty terrifying not knowing how my flowers would come out and not being able to see them until my wedding day (you can ask for a mock bouquet but it costed extra and I wasn’t willing to drop the money), but when I saw my flowers for the first time on my wedding day, I was so in LOVE with them! They were absolutely flawless and totally spot on of what I had envisioned this whole time. Not only that, they went along with my soft romantic color scheme and our elegant venue perfectly. All my girlfriends commented to me how my flowers were so, so beautiful. I especially appreciated how LuAnn was very accommodating from the start. She always made an effort to make sure she was on the same page of my vision for my flowers. I also really liked the fact that you could choose to either keep all your flowers after the wedding or donate them to Dell Children’s Hospital for all the sick children there. Since I am a pediatrician, I was ecstatic to donate them! Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to begin. First off, I ADORE Addie. She is so hopeful & SO sweet & went above & beyond in working with me to help me achieve my very specific vision. Second off, have you seen their work??? UNMATCHED.

My husband & I eloped & then, a year later, did the big ol' wedding thing. We used Verbena both times. Our elopement was small (it was literally just my husband & I). Despite our small order, Addie & her team understood how special that day was to us & still gave us the care & attention that I imagine larger orders/weddings would receive (& I believe they were slammed that weekend with 3 or 4 actual big weddings??). We felt listened to & cared for &, not to mention, the arrangements were GORGEOUS.

So, when I started planning for the real thing, I knew I had to snag the team at Verbena for the job. & they OUTDID themselves. I had a very specific vision & I wanted a LOT of flowers. Addie met with me multiple times, both on the phone & in person to make sure she delivered exactly what I wanted. By the time I walked down the aisle, I was blown away. Addie & her team not only met, but SURPASSED, my vision. It was stunning.
