I went to the farmers market kind of on a whim, not knowing what to expect. It was advertised as Avon Farmers Market Corn Roast. Unlike other farmers markets I've been to, there were not very many fruits or vegetables available - there were a select few in one corner, but most things are out of season though anyway.
The market was full of vendors selling all kinds of crafts, edible and otherwise. Wonderful soaps, delightful trinkets, honey this and honey that. The rules of the game were that for every booth at which you buy an item you receive a yellow ticket which may be exchanged at the main booth for an ear of roasted corn. We got four of them - dipped in butter and salted and pepper to taste.

But also more unusual booths like 3D printed fantasy/sci-fi statuettes, a canine bakery, and my favorite--homemade Filipino food. There's also a Mexican food truck, ice cream, a butcher, and a lady selling pre-made frozen, take and bake entrees, including several types of enchiladas, pot pie, and Swedish meatballs. It's an outdoor environment and everyone there is very friendly and helpful. If you get business cards from sellers you can reach out to them at the latter time and set up different ways to get your produce when market is out of season.
