I added one star because the stores inventory was ok. It is one of the smaller Hobby Lobby stores. I posted a candid photo I took on the way out of the door. I spent around 35 minutes shopping and ended up purchasing a lamp, and some various art supplies that totalled $74.96 all together. I spent most of my time on one half of the store because I started feeling so uncomfortable from being followed by employees. I held all the items I had up in the air in plain sight thinking that the employees would back off a little and let me shop, but I started being followed by more of them with every isle I walked down. I will mention that the cashier, Brittany, was very nice. She sparked up a conversation with me and I felt a little relief until I was walking out of the store and there were literally 4 ladies practically blocking the exit, one that was dressed in black w a walkie talkie and an asset protection badge, the others store employees. I took their picture and was glad to drive away from that store. I will drive the extra distance to another Hobby Lobby location from now on.

Hobby Lobby truly has everything you could imagine! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the store is so well-organized. Right now, they have an amazing selection for all four seasons—Thanksgiving, Harvest, and Fall décor are everywhere, and the Christmas displays are already up and absolutely beautiful. There are tons of items on sale and great discounts, so it’s definitely worth taking your time here. I visited on a Thursday, and it was still quite busy—the checkout lines were packed, and I waited about 20–25 minutes since only 5 out of 8 registers were open. That said, the staff worked efficiently and kept everything moving. I recommend visiting on weekdays if you can; weekends tend to get very crowded. Plan to spend a good 1–2 hours browsing—each aisle is filled with inspiration, great deals, and unique finds. I always walk out with something I love. This is one of the best Hobby Lobby locations in Arizona—clean, organized, and full of creative energy. Definitely a must-visit spot for home décor lovers!

This store is the reason I stop going to Michael's. The sales are awesome and there are way more art/craft supplies. They have really nice furniture and home decor. The decor is unbelievable!! It's like going to Pier 1 Imports or some other fancy store. Price on items is reasonable to total bargains. Cashier line is usually long, they either need more staff or more cash registers. The Spring/Summer sales at the end of the year are the best. I am Very Happy this place is around.

For starters, Hobby Lobby has so many neat things you most likely won't find anywhere else. Though I was impressed by all the things they carried I was really disappointed with the service the associates provided. After 15 minutes of roaming the store looking for magnets I finally decided to find an associate and ask for help. The first girl I encountered was nice but she seemed like she was in a hurry to get back to whatever she was doing. When I asked where they carried magnets she simply told me "In the craft aisle next to the candle making area" and then pointed to a corner of the store. Not to be a smart ass but the whole place is full of crafts so I was a bit confused when she said "craft aisle." Anyways, I headed to the direction she pointed and started looking for candle making area. I looked up and down the aisles (which aren't labeled by numbers or a list/description of what the aisles contain-very inconvenient) and couldn't find the magnets nor candle making items. I then decided to find an associate again and ask for help. This time I ran into a girl and her manager. I asked the girl where they carried magnets and this lady told me to look in the aisle behind her, next to be chalkboards. So I went to the aisle behind her and found the chalk boards, but didn't see any sign of magnets. I was annoyed at this point that I was sent on a wild goose chase. Neither of the associates or the manager (who witnessed his associate tell me this information) offered to walk me to the aisle where the magnets were located. I was extremely disappointed in the manager and his associates. What kind of "manager" lets his associates or himself get away with this behavior. So much for customer service. I will say that they associates were friendly but didn't go the extra step to make me want to come shop at Hobby Lobby over any other craft store. I ended up putting half of my stuff away because I figured I could just buy it at another craft store (Joann's/Micheal's) and receive better service. Although I was not satisfied at all with the way the associates interacted with me I probably will return because of the great selection of house decor. But only if I have a coupon because their stuff is quite pricey. Anything else I can find in a common craft store I will gladly go out of my way to go elsewhere. Working in a customer service industry, I must say I hope Corporate reads this and says something to the manager of this place. This way, no one else encounters the lack of enthusiasm to help, the workers provide. Hobby Lobby should strive to provide top notch customer service so they can set themselves apart from other craft store...

I've never wanted to write a bad review about a retail store until now. I saw a piece of wall art that I really loved at a different hobby lobby when I was on my trip in CA. Found out it'll be on sale in a week so I stopped at this store while I was on my way home (still 2 hours from where I live and out of my way) but I REALLY wanted this picture. I gathered some other things that I wanted to buy and looked everywhere on the floor for the picture. I couldn't find it. I went to check out and looked to my left and saw it on display directly above the seasonal stuff on the top of the shelf! I was ecstatic.. I asked the cashier if she would kindly send someone up to get it down for me and she asked 3 different employees.. I waited for the first employee to come to the front- she said she can't do it because it's not her department. Waited for the second employee to come up, same thing.. not her department so she can't do it.. After more waiting they sent the employee in charge of seasonal and she told me that they "weren't allowed to get it down". They did NOT even sell it to me. I couldn't believe it.... I should've asked for a manager but at this point I had already been driving for 7 hours and I was over it. Horrible customer service. They should have told me to step aside for a minute so they can figure out how to get it down and I would've waited no problem but instead they told me I couldn't have it!! These employees were young, I'm 32 and they looked really young. Someone needs to teach them some work ethic because this is ridiculous. Will not be returning to...

I had brought three very heavy frames that needed to be redone. I was called to pick them up. I walked to the very back of the store and rang at least four times until two associates showed up to demand to know what I wanted. Asked for my frames and was told to pay up front. Wasn’t offered help to carry so made it back up to the front. Set them on a cart by the register while I was waiting for the busy cashier. She informed me that it was her cart for returns so I got another cart to set by hers so it was ready for when I finally made it through the line. Got up to pay and my cart was gone. I could see the front end person the whole time so I thought she was at least paying attention. Wasn’t offered help or a cart so had to manage on my own until a gentleman by the carts retrieved one for me. I loaded them up in my car and walked the cart all the way back in. Mentioned to the front end person that I wasn’t impressed with the customer service after paying $120. Regardless though all the associates seemed to act as if I was an inconvenience. Too bad as the frames were really well done. Rather pay twice as much to not have to deal with the...
