Total nightmare of a day out in Bainbridge, we took the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge, arrived at the ferry terminal at 11, didn’t arrive at Bainbridge until 2, tried to find somewhere for lunch and everywhere was either a 90 minute wait, didn’t allow kids, didn’t allow dogs or both. We had to head out of town to get lunch and went to a brewery that had terrible beer and food, we decided to leave and get off the island ASAP, got to the ferry terminal and then had to wait another 2 hours to get off, all of this was $45 on the ferry for the privilege. Bainbridge itself isn’t all that nice compared to islands like Whidbey, the only highlight being the Bloedel Reserve, but even this is incredibly snobby despite being beautiful.
