The area coach needs to get on this Sunday lunch crews as there is no sense of urgency. After Waiting over 30 min for my food, I go to the counter to check on it and see that it has not even started. Counter side was filling nacho cheese cups. Then when I do finally get my food I find it to be a hot mess. The tray has food on it from other orders The counter food prep side was hardly moving to make orders. Then when they would I'm sure it was in violation unless the food prep ways have changed that much. Nacho cheese pump was missing and a ladle was being used with the nacho cheese wide open. Mexican pizza shells sitting on the counter for 10 min not in the proper spot. Food is definitely not at the proper temp as when I received it, it was already at room temp. Dining room was a freaking mess. Dirty tables everywhere. Sweet tea dispenser is SPRAYING tea. I have pictures to prove this poor excuse of service here. The experience at the drive-thru line was atrocious and when we went to pay for our order, we were told by the male cashier "that our card had no money on it". We both said what? We were alarmed to say the least and stated impossible! The cashier never gave us our card back and swiped it again. This time it said that a "duplicate" transaction wasn't allowed. That didn't stop this man from swiping it one more time before calling his manager over to assist him. We told her that there had to be an issue with the machine. Well nevertheless, she couldn't figure it out and told us that it was our lucky day and she gave us our food. We left but were confused.
We checked our account and found that we were charged for our food. We will have to follow-up with the bank to make sure that we only get charged once for this order.

( if you check my reviews you can tell I normally have pretty negative experiences in Bakersfield) but I gave Taco Bell another chance after they are trying to use robots to take our order, and we ordered one quadrillion tacos so we could speak to a human. Keep reading this isn't fake we really did that. A very high spirited voice ring over the loud speaker to take our order with no problem whatsoever we're leaving our stress and contempt for the robot takeover. With no kidding Jocelyn who was working at 3:30 p.m. on October 28th was one of the nicest and most professional employees we've run into. She assured us that we can always speak to a human if we'd like because what the customer wants is important.
