Mill Creek Park — Attraction in Bakersfield

Mill Creek park is a beautiful section of Bakersfield that features a part of the Kern river that flows through the center of the park and is accented with a wooden bridge and fenced encasement which compliments the lovely view it's surroundings. Herein visitors can enjoy a brisk walk or afternoon picnic among many other possibilities for leisure activities that require no cost and offer a wonderful place to experience memoral escapes from the bustling daily life of Bakersfield citizenship. Both me and my daughter go to this park frequently, This particular occasion it was us and our two dogs. Hardly any kids there, maybe a few riding their scooters around the park but the playground itself was empty for my daughter to use. She loved it! There were some men set up with their tables and chairs playing games under the trees in the middle of the park and several other people fishing and feeding the ducks. If you're worried about homeless I mean there's a ton of them I counted at least 4 or 5 a few of them in and out of the bathrooms so I don't suggest using the restrooms there because they weren't that clean. Still a cute little park to kill some time and get the little one...

This is a beautiful Park however it needs a lot of cleanup. There are people doing drugs right out in the open. It's more of a homeless people Park, there are people that talk to themselves out loud walking around yelling at the air. I am surprised that the park rangers allow all of this I thought Parks were for kids to come play there are people's clothes laying around in the water along with trash if only it could be kept clean and not have people laying around doing drugs and sleeping all over the place it would be a...
