You want to know why I'm so upset about this seller/ business?......Because I'm a grandmother and you don't mess with a grandmother who is just trying to make her grandson happy! I had my grandson over for the weekend and he wanted to play Wii. I have a Wii console but my rechargeable remote batteries were toast in two of my remotes so I went up to Bay City Games & More to see if they could set me up with something to get me up and running so that my grandson could have a nice weekend playing with the Wii while at my house. Well, when I got there they had no Wii remotes, but I was sold a charging pad with two used rechargeable battery packs for $10/ plus tax.(Not a bad price) I took the charging pad home and put the battery packs in my Wii remotes(Yes I put them in correctly) ( I may be old, but I'm not stupid) and then put the remotes onto the charging pad. The lights did not light up. I did some switching around, still nothing. No, red light, no green light.... nothing! So no Wii for my grandson. It was a Saturday and BCG&M was now closed. They would reopen the following day (Sunday) at Noon. I would call and let them know there was an issue with the charging pad and battery packs they sold me. At approximately 1p.m. that Sunday I called BCG&M. I left whomever DIDN'T answer their phone's voice mail a detailed message.(Bay City Games & More's website states to call them with any questions) I told them I would like an exchange of product, a refund of my $10/plus tax or for them to some how make this right. I NEVER received a return call. The next day, after my grandson had to be taken back home I tried the battery packs and charging pad again and got the green charging light to come on this time. The Wii remotes charged and now they both work. I still never received a call from anyone at Bay City Games & More. Had they called I would have told them that I finally got them to work, but because they didn't care about me after the sale I won't be going back to them. What if I hadn't got them to work? I'd be stuck with a worthless $10 charger and my grandson and me both would be very unhappy. This way, I'm the only one who's unhappy because I know that these are salesmen who don't care about service after a sale. That's sad. You just want to sell. You don't care what it is, if it works, if your customer is satisfied, nor happy. You only care that you got your money. Well, you're never going to get any more of mine or my family's or my friend's money because they now all know what you didn't do! Now everyone who reads this is going to know what you didn't do. You can't stay in business ignoring grandmothers on fixed incomes. We will bankrupt you so fast it'll make your head spin. Wise up youngsters or the only place you'll be selling things is at your own...
Read moreMy little bro took his hard earned leaf money to this store bought a original Xbox(not actually worked). Next day took it back with him, worker explained it was tampered with. If he did try to fix it is besides me, warrenty sticker was tore. Talked to manager, told her issue showed her it was not completely all the way through which meant it could not have been opened. She said she would make it right though and look at it, and if issues with it could only do instore credit. Well the worker made me feel like i was a criminal who was trying to get one on him. I am a grown adult and not some punk kid. Then when on phone said he did not even need to look at it. Manager when i talked to her week later went into policy and procedures and would do nothing for me, and stated i could get a second opinion. So there was absolutely no customer service. I guess what i am saying is i am disappointed in them lying to me about taking a look at it just to get me out of their store i guess? Did not honor in store credit which manager in her own words told me. Should have atleast tried to do something for me. He will get another one that i will pay for but, by poor customer service i will never give them any of my business per my policy and procedures of feeling like the issue was poorly handled. Read moreI had a bad last experience at this store...they tried testing my 'Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth' game and claimed it didn't work...it was my rare-est game I had that went for nearly 35$ on their pricing site...they also tested my 'WcW:NwO revenge' and still bought it after it didn't show up on their screen as well!!! They made me go over to their pawn shop next door to recieve 7 dollars and 80 cents for WcW:NwO revenge and Command and Conquer both for N64 ( along with Star Soldier which was also an n64 game that they gave back to me) ...overall this whole mess of a situation took me over a half hour of waiting for 7.80$$ (6.80$ for the 2 games...1 which was tested and still not showing up on the screen...and a dollar for a power cord i also sold)...Overall I was really disappointed and disrespected at this store and will probably not do any business...
