Panera Bread — Restaurant in Bangor Township

I ordered the chicken chipotle sandwich, a salad, and a smoothie. Was given a total of $26. I get to the window to pay, some 25 minutes after ordering at the menu, and was told $27 something. I thought maybe the girl gave me a subtotal by accident and ignored it. Then they gave me a huge bag. I had asked for my smoothie, it wasn't even started. I glanced over at the bag, and saw that it wasn't even my food on that receipt, I paid and received someone else's items. It's now 35 minutes since I ordered, and 45 minutes into my wait in the drive thru. I just completed a 12 mile hike in the heat and was hungry, exhausted, and now cranky, it was also late evening. Feeling bad for those behind me, I told the manager to refund my money, handed over my card and parked to get out of everyone else's way. I love that sandwich, but I'll never go to Bay City Panera again, even though I drive by almost every day. This was the 3rd time I was inconvenienced by a screw up here, and the longest I've had to wait. I barely can afford Panera, this was a treat for myself. What did I have for dinner after all of this? I'll start off with my husband and I have been sip club members for almost 3 years now ok, so we know how it works. You place your order through the app.You go to the store, you pick up your drink cup and you fill it. Well now and then they want to fill the cup for me.. weird and no because I dont put ice in my drinks. So I simply say can I get an empty cup I don't use ice. The staff got a bit I dont know id say rude when giving me the cup. Ok whatever 🙄 she's a teenager. Lol well, today as i'm placing my order standing in front of the rapid pickup window. Frequent this place 2 or 3 times a week. I cannot remember the last time my order was not messed up, incomplete, or lacking silverware. (Always order to go). Last week i received the wrong soup one day and got no bagette the day after. Today, I received no silver ware or napkins. It not being the first time this has happened, I asked the lady who prepared my food if silverware was in the bag and she said yes. i get to my office and there are no silverware or napkins. I had to drink my soup and eat my salad with my hands.... Not Happy. I like the food but I cannot stand the terrible service. Numerous times I have stood in line to order for minutes because no one was taking orders.
