Bernie & Phyl's deserves 5 stars because of its has "excellent customer service" and furniture. My husband and I purchased a King sized bedroom set with a head board, foot board, dresser, chest with a mirror, and 2 night stands this week. Looking at the model on the Hyannis showroom, we did not realize that this particular set was considered "distressed" furniture. When it arrived in our home, we noticed some very obvious imperfections on a couple of the pieces.
We called customer service and all the representatives I talked to during the past couple of days verbalized that they wanted to make the sale "right" for us. I was very pleased that Bernie and Phyl's stands behind their product. This is excellent customer relations!
Since my husband and I decided that we liked the bedroom set and did not want to give it up, we decided to have the store send us two of the items to swap out for our existing ones, which we felt were not the same quality that we saw on their sales' room floor.
The same two moving men, who originally brought the furniture a couple of days ago, came to our home today. They were extremely professional, patient, and excellent in moving the new furniture, carefully; just as they had done two days ago, when they delivered the furniture the first time. They showed us each of the two pieces that they brought and explained what we were seeing. We ended up swapping out one piece of the set which was very "distressed". These two movers were very "skilled and careful" in moving the furniture in and out of our home.
The sales team which included the sales specialist in the Hyannis store, the 3 customer service representatives, I talked to this week, and the two movers should be commented for being a "wonderful part of the Bernie and Phyl's sales team". My husband and I are "very "impressed" by the level of customer service Bernie and Phyl's awesome sales team gave us this past week.
This is our second purchase at the Hyannis location and it will "not" be our last. Thank you very much for making this a very positive experience, helping us to understand our choices, and feel very good about our purchase. Our bedroom...
Read moreI went to Bernie and Phil's last night and I didn't realize it but like half an hour before they were ready to close and I'm very handicapped so it's hard for me to walk but I was walking and they were very sweet with the fact that I wanted to look at a recliner and she asked me if I'd like to go in the elevator to the lower level to see it, she took me down and showed me the chairs available and I was like oh cool I fell in love with one right away it was like hey Saturday night it was very comfy I tried the motor to see what how it works and it just was very easy and attractive too like everything I needed cuz you know I needed and instead of trying to hurry me out she told me I was more than welcome to sit in the chair and she'd go to the paperwork for me so that I didn't have it I could rest cuz you can tell I was having a hard time I was in a lot of pain yesterday. Very nice young lady and then we came up back up the elevator and I was hurting so I should let me sit in one of the cheers regular tear I mean remember at this one I was sold to the store but she was very sweet and let me sit there too wouldn't finish up the paperwork and I were having trouble with their internet so it took a few minutes which I got to have a nice rest before I had to leave but that time about 5 minutes later I was walking out the door and I'm getting my cheer on Tuesday and I so can't wait until they can deliver it and set it up I won't believe me if you go here ask if you want like insurance on on the product good bye because the chair right but I bought the offered a five year insurance for an electric type of care five years a long time and it was all $50 I think that to me was very reasonable so yes I did purchase that and now I am at home waiting my nutria to arrive on Tuesday:-) Again Bernie and Phil's you're wonderful employee that was so kind to me I so appreciate it and I so look forward to the product I...
Read moreOrdered furniture in late June/Early July - am still waiting on furniture Dec. 28. We ordered the furniture expressly on the fact that it was American made, and our sale consultant directly told us it would not have delays due to that fact that overseas shipping was not an issue. We kept the order simple and did not use the special order fabric, expressly told to us by the sale consultant. They quoted us 18-22 Weeks which would be the beginning to mid Decmeber, no update was given when this deadline passed. I had to call each week to keep updated with the order, they kept telling us Dec 26... Dec 26. Then on the 28th when i still had not heard anything i call them and they tell me the order wont be ready until Late march, i ask why an order update had not been provided to us, especialy as we had ordered this furniture to use for inlaws staying for the arrival of our first child, they tell me that it is policy to input random email addresses if the sale consultant doesnt have an email, i asked why they didnt call us with this information- we were informed that wasnt a policy as well. Overall - amazed at the disfunction of this institution, and not sure we will ever see this furniture. I understand supply chain issues, however communication would be appreciated when things change.
