Sleep City Mattress Superstore Perkins — Attraction in Baton Rouge

I saw Kevin today in Hillsborough County, Florida at the Florida State Fair. Let me tell you….. he came right over to me and immediately started joking with me and was as friendly as could be. He didn’t attempt ANY high pressure sales tactics. What impressed me the MOST, dispite it being a crazy busy event with thousands of people, dozens walking around trying to ask him quistions, he did not leave my side or tell me he would be right back to help someone else while I made up my mind. He interacted with the other customers to show them attention and informed them he was with me at the moment and would be with them as soon as I was completely happy with my experience. I was so impressed with his level of customer service, his attitude and attention to his surrounding customers without ever making me feel like any less important then someone with a million dollars, buying out the showroom. I have been in sales more then 25 years and even was the only female car salesman in a Huge multi billion dollar Nissan Dealership chain here in Florida for years….. so I have EXTREMELY high expectations of sales reps and get very annoyed very easily if I feel ignored or taken advantage of. Keven never once made me feel like I was just another sale. I also went to the website to verify all the price quotes he gave me today of the in store prices….. every single thing he said was correct!!!! Not one line or lie! I could not believe it!! He was also trying to help me SAVE MONEY! Of course I picked out something with more bells and whistles that was more expensive, but he said no problem and accommodated me in every way. I am THEILLED! Out of the 3 other Bed companies at the Fair Expo today their prices were by far the best, there staff was the friendliest and their delivery times and days were incredibly fast!!! So please if you read this all the way through, I know it was long winded but I needed to put it out there how amazed I was and how excited I am to get my new bed and adjustable mattress! I can’t help but leave a fantastic review about my experience at Sleep City in Baton Rouge. I’ve always been super cautious when making decisions about big-ticketed items, but I knew I wanted to purchase a high quality mattress, only I wasn’t sure where to start.

Kevin Trimble was my sales representative yesterday and from the moment I walked in, I felt this transparency and respect that he had for his customers. I was completely honest with what I wanted and didn’t want - what I liked and didn’t like. Kevin was incredibly helpful as we walked through the store trying different options and he was exceptionally knowledgeable about each of my top picks. I ultimately chose the King Unique with the adjustable base, which Kevin actually owned himself. Knowing I was cautious about big-ticketed purchase, he went over and beyond to get me the best deal he could offer. He laid out all of the details from point of sale to home delivery, giving me full comfort about the sale. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Overall, my mattress purchasing experience was much easier than I anticipated and Kevin was an exceptional sales representative with his patience, timeliness, and knowledge-base about the products available. The sales rep was awesome, but they delivered the wrong bed to my house twice and I know this may sound crazy, but the delivery driver’s pants must not have fit because they kept falling down and I had to endure full plumbers crack the entire time they were setting up x’s two because of them messing up the first delivery. Then the bed they sold me didn’t even have individually wrapped coils (which they did not tell me) and sold me a Queen Mattress with adjustable base as a set that goes together. Well everyone knows you can’t put that kind of bed on a base and my coils gave out within 6 months. I didn’t even use the moment feature that much. I called the store and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I ended up at Mattress Direct and had a more pleasant experience hands down.
