Disney and Universal Trip review Day 1: Magic Kingdom • Transportation: Took 2 hours from bus to park, which was challenging. • Experience: Navigating Genie, Lightning Lane, and Virtual Queues was complicated. • Rides: o Tron x2 (we paid for it twice, and it was worth it!) o Small World o Pirates of the Caribbean o Haunted Mansion o Princess Tiana o Jungle Cruise o Space Mountain o Thunder Mountain o Buzz Lightyear Shooter • Bippity Boppity Boutique: A fantastic experience with Meagan. • Tip: Pray for rain—it clears the park, though some rides may close. Day 2: Animal Kingdom • Transportation: Used Uber directly, much smoother. • Highlights: o Ate at Tusker House, which was incredible. The cuisine, especially the curry, was world-class. o Characters visit every table, which was a great experience for the kids. o Expedition Everest (Yeti) ride was a must-do. o Pandora – The Avatar ride was stunning. • Tip: Keep your card handy. Day 3: Epcot • Experience: Epcot was amazing, with air conditioning at every ride. • Highlights: o Guardians of the Galaxy: The best ride in the park. o Space Mission Earth. o Fireworks at 9 PM: A spectacular show! o Dining: Best food in the park. o Each country pavilion had staff from the actual country, adding authenticity. • Hollywood Studios: No shade but great experiences like the new Star Wars attractions, Tower of Terror, and the original Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Read moreChristmas Week 24 Review: Don't do any park, besides Epcot, while kids are on Xmas vacation. The lines/traffic was something to behold. The Magic Kingdom was dangerous on Christmas and you couldn't view/reach the fireworks unless you are already there 1-1.5 hours in advance. They had a virtual queue for the Guardians ride at 1pm. They told us 3.5 hour wait. Then, the ride broke down before we could ever go on it and didn't come back online until after our queue expired and the candlelight show started at 9pm. Splash Mtn had the same Queue but you miss the window at 1pm, you don't get to go on it at all. Wish they advertised the Queues in the app. Ride lines were averaging 2-3 hours long. Rise of the resistance was closer to 3.5. I dislike tickets are closer to $200 and you still need to $38/3 rides fast passes to avoid 2 hour waits. It's miserable time if you're in or pushing a wheelchair. NOW, the good. Candlelight Processional show was insane. Galaxy's Edge was almost all I wanted it to be. The newer rides were super fun like Tron, Resistance, etc. Still love Tower of Terror, RocknRoller coaster, Star Tours (updated), Indiana Jones show (best thing here), Pirates, explore China and Canada. The shows and actors in the shows do amazing work and it shows. Conclusion: it's still a fun time, but tempter your expectations and avoid...
Read moreSpent 4 HOURS waiting to do the new DAS ENROLLMENT…. 4 hours! I’m really sure now that we shouldn’t continue with the annual pass. On so many levels Disney has went down, including their costumer service. The prices are more than outrageous and now with the DAS situation, which I do have medical documentation for, it’s having to relive serious injury every 120 days. I will not ever understand why they just didn’t do it like Universal Studios? I give props to Universal Studios for having established a platform, which was ingenious! The process is terrible and the lack of transparency of the conditions that qualify are even worse, as there’s no guidelines where at least our medical providers can provide documentation for. I spoke to my provider and they were clueless, as they could only provide documentation such as FMLA paperwork and a letter of permanent disability. I’m not sure I want to be put through this process every 120 days. Plus the prices are becoming ridiculous and unaffordable. My DAS got denied as they stated it was o lay for developmental disability. But complex PTSD AND military sexual trauma are not even closely considered. This is concerning. Not ADA...
