A very nice place for a snack in the Magic Kingdom. There are lots of places to eat in the Magic Kingdom, in general, and in Adventureland and Frontierland, specifically. We were hungry for a snack and decided to try this place as it advertised Beignets. It is located in a small building across from Pecos Bill and between the Pirates of the Caribbean and Tianna’s Bayou Adventure. It offers Hot Honey Chicken, Sweet Potato Fries, Tiana’s Famous Beignets along with various drinks. We tried the beignets. They were pretty good with lots of powdered sugar and honey. Like all the food kiosks, you pay at one end and then pick up your food at the other side. There is a very nice shady area right next to the kiosk with benches and tables. The staff was friendly and efficient and the seating area was very quiet and pleasant even though it was only about 10 feet from the busy walkway. I am interested in visiting this place again to try their other items. The costs of various items was between $5 and $10 which is reasonable for good food in teh park. Overall, it was good food at a reasonable price in the...
Read moreThe Golden Outpost is my go-to for unique treats at Walt Disney World. The current offering is hot honey chicken and beignets. Both are excellent choices. The hot honey chicken is the right amount of spice. You get about three generously sized fried nuggets atop an overflowing bed of sweet potato fries. I honestly had a hard time finishing it, there was so much. And if you like beignets, these are delicious. Hot and fluffy, dusted with powdered sugar, with a superfluous drizzle of honey on top. They're not as large as the ones served at the French Quarter of Riverside, and you only get 3, but they're delightful little snacks. Plus, they're right there by Tiana's -- how appropriate is that? The only cons are the service/atmosphere. The line can build up quickly, and turn around time between purchase and service is slow. Also, this area only offers outdoor seating. I'd suggest grabbing those snacks to go and eating inside nearby Pecos Bill, which offers air...

Though this was the first time I've met a rude employee in Disney. There was 3 people in the que, and I accidently got in the wrong side but I immediately realized and got to the correct side of the que (was just for a split second) and yet the employee (don't know her name but it was a woman with a dark skin/dark hair who work on 17th October at around 5.30pm) thought it was necessary to drop a snarky comment pointing next time I should enter the que from the right side (I went to the end of the que by Myself as soon as I realized, it was just a split second, honest mistake as there isn't any sign for the line)
Need to train the employee better! I wouldn't even think she is 'decent' in standard hospitality industry, while for Disney where the service is supposed to be extra, she sucks big time.
I would never go back to...
