Aloha Isle has always been close to my heart. If I am staffed with watching a little one by myself or stuck in Adventure Land or I could think of many many other excuses for needing a pineapple float. The combination of combining pineapple juice with pineapple flavored soft serve has been so magically for me. It truly gives you a peice of paradise. I had this desert for a couple of decades before my first trip to Hawaii to the Dole plantation where I got to try where this desert originated from. It reminds you of the true idea of Disney. Where you can take the best places, food, treats and cultures putting them in one amazing place. This year Aloha Isle upped their game. This location has moved in Magic Kingdom recently to give them more room to more efficiently keep up with orders. Gone are the days of waiting 30+ minutes in line. But they have added a Kakamora float as well. Instead of pineapple ice cream they use coconut ice cream. Then add some food coloring. Although I love the original this is also just as magical. We got one of each to split between five people and it was nice switching between the pineapple and coconut ice cream. Makes me wish magic was open right now and I had an annual pass to run in and get...
Read moreDisney can be a great place for snacking, but maybe it's best to leave that experience to EPCOT rather than Magic Kingdom.
I spent some time watching tiktok videos to know what the best places to go for snacking in Magic Kingdom would be. Aloha Isle was one that came up several times for their pineapple upside-down cake with dole whip on top. I was very excited to give this a try since it looks absolutely delicious and the price is very good for Disney.
The line was a little disorganized but other than that the service was fairly good and I was ordering in no time. I ordered their pineapple upside-down cake with pineapple dole whip on top as suggested in the videos. While I was very pleased with the dole whip, I was left dissatisfied with the upside-down cake itself.
The pineapple upside-down cake was very dry and had only a few little pieces of pineapple. I did not expect this from the videos, but nonetheless, most of it was eaten by my family and myself. Definitely would not have been able to eat this on my own due to its dryness.
I'd definitely give this place another go but I would try one of their other options like the Dole whip pineapple float. Now that looks...
Read moreThe Aloha Isle is a counter-service restaurant located in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom. It is famous for serving the most delicious and refreshing dessert of all-time. Dole Whip, a pineapple-flavored soft serve ice cream, which is the main attraction for visitors, is absolutely hands down my favorite thing to eat in all of Walt Disney World. Many visitors, like myself, highly recommend trying the Dole Whip from Aloha Isle, as it is considered one of the must-try treats at Magic Kingdom. Additionally, the restaurant also offers other treats and drinks, including floats, pineapple spears, and souvenir cups. One common complaint about the Aloha Isle is that it can get very crowded, especially during peak times. However, the staff members are known to work quickly and efficiently to keep the lines moving as smoothly as possible. Overall, if you are visiting Magic Kingdom and looking for a delicious and refreshing treat, the Aloha Isle is definitely worth a visit.I never miss an opportunity to stop here at least once while visiting the Magic Kingdom at Walt...
