We took our truck to get power steps put on after speaking to John in the parts dept who then sent my call to Esmeralda, who quickly schedule us on a day and time that was less busy so we can get in and out without having to leave our truck overnight. We arrived and Esmeralda in the pre-owned service department was quick to get our keys and call the technician, whom she said was waiting for us. Wow, right! While waiting we were given breakfast, Esmeralda asked us if we wanted a shuttle to take us home or else where while our truck was being worked on and would be picked back up and returned to the dealership when our truck was ready. Never had any other dealership offered us a shuttle or breakfast and treated us with such kindness. While waiting, Esmeralda told us to let her know if we needed anything. Everyone there from Mike the financial person and a 2nd financial man we did not get his name were so kind, helpful and answered our questions in regards to extended warranty plans. The manager at the pre-owned department was so friendly as well as Daniel who tried to help me getting the wifi password. Since the beginning of our arrival, we were asked "how can I help you?" While waiting we walked to the new vehicle section and a salesman named Slade came out right away and asked us how he could help us. We told him we had questions about a future vehicle we are looking to buy. He was so friendly and so knowledgeable about the different trims and what each trim came with as well what each can do. Then we asked Slade about the 2025 truck we bought from them and what the buttons on the steering wheel did. It was like talking to an encyclopedia . He is so knowledgeable and informed about all the things our vehicle is capable of. He even gave us his number to call him if we have other questions about our new vehicle! Fantastic & incredible!!! The technician Rolando who is stationed in the pre-owned service department put our power steps on. He handled our vehicle with care and respect. We spoke to him afterwards and he answered the questions we asked in regards to putting on our power steps. He was professional and very knowledgeable about that subject as well as other subjects about other accessories and products that can be used on our vehicle to clean it. We are grateful and thankful for Bayshore Dealership in Baytown hiring such friendly, caring, respectful people representing their dealership in the new vehicle section and pre-owned section in all...
Read moreToday I have finally become old, or have I? Over the past few weeks I have pondered getting an RV. However, after putting pencil to paper I realized the amount of money I’d spend to fuel one with an average of 7 to 9 miles per gallon was going to be ridiculous. My brother told me to consider a Dodge Caravan or Chrysler Pacifica. Which led me to the part of this rating and praise. First and foremost, you have to understand I come from a long line of car sales people. I pulled into the lot, expecting a pushy sales person. Instead I was greeted by Nelson Godfrey. I was pleasantly surprised and how respectful he was. At no time was he pushy! Quite the opposite. He greeted me with a hello and ask how I was doing followed by an extension of a hand to shake. Followed by asking me if I needed help or had any questions, not he standard what type of car are you looking for. After pointing out the Pacifica, he ask if I minded him going to get the keys, not the quick launch into making a sell. He returned and was extremely knowledgeable on the vehicle. A short test drive later I had already made the decision to talk prices. Again he was extremely polite and cordial. Truly a plus in my books. Of course there was the standard let me see whats the least the sales manager will take, followed by the counter, followed by the final sales manger exchange. Whereupon he returned unknowingly with the exact bottom dollar of the most I would pay. Could I have played hard ball and tried to negotiate. Certainly I could have, but why would I, Nelson was extremely polite and considerate. In my opinion, truly a great sales person. His management and the owner hopefully know the importance of this young man.
Which brings me to another worthy employee. After coming to an agreement, Nelson escorted me to finance where I had the pleasure of dealing with Jay Way ( I sure hope I have the last name correct, my fault, not his I’m terrible with names). Come to find out Jay and I grew up not far from each other town wise in the Panhandle of Texas. After a brief cordial exchange and swapping of stories. I quickly realized he was also an exemplary employee which is willing to take the time to answer any questions and ensure the customer is aware of each step of the process. As with Nelson, his management and the owner hopefully know the importance of this young man as well.
Both should be commended on their politeness and the image they portray as they...

I’ve been looking for a car for over a week, and after getting bad offers at other dealerships for my trade-in, I decided to give this dealership a shot, unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge mistake.
From the start, the staff was unwilling to negotiate or offer any flexibility. I tried to negotiate the price of a used car and remove unnecessary packages they were adding, but they wouldn’t budge. They also gave me a lowball offer for my trade-in.
Things only got worse when the finance manager showed up. I’ve never encountered a more unprofessional person. He immediately started criticizing my credit profile, despite my decent credit and salary, and acted like it was impossible to close any deal with me. He seemed annoyed because I had been looking at other dealerships, and kept focusing on my credit score and down payment, without offering any real solutions. I was offered another car that didn’t meet my needs, and ultimately we walked away without a deal.
After an hour, I received a call saying I was “approved” with my down payment. When I asked for the APR, they refused to give me a straight answer, but insisted it was a good rate. I returned the next day, only to sit for another 2 hours waiting. When the finance manager finally came back, all he could give me was the monthly payment amount, without any official paperwork or transparency. When I asked again about the APR, he reluctantly told me it was 18%—absolutely outrageous.
What really upset me was the manager's condescending attitude. He kept making unfounded claims about my credit, even though I know it’s in good standing. He seemed more interested in pushing me into a deal than actually helping me. It felt like he was trying to scam me with inflated rates and hidden fees.
In the end, this dealership was unprofessional, dishonest, and manipulative. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for fair and transparent car deals. Stay far away if you value your...
