The staff behind the desks are incredibly rude. I’ve been here for urgent care twice, once like over a year ago and I checked in in person. I waited over an hour until going back in and I’m 99% sure she never actually checked me in based on her reaction. I went in recently to urgent care and checked in online. There was a person at the desk outside the door for urgent care, but they never said anything to me. I checked my phone several times to see if there were any further instructions and if I needed to still check in in person. There were not. Nobody else was waiting so I sat there for again an hour. The person at the desk left, and another patient came in and checked in the room. I had earlier, and it was empty. I asked her if she spoke to anyone in there and she said that she has to wait for the person at the desk outside to get back. That person was gone for 10-15 minutes and when I went in the room the women at the desks 1. Did not even open the sliding window to talk to me 2. Were sitting at their desks on their phones and talking to each other. the one who spoke to me insisted I had to check in with the person at the desk. I’m just wondering why I was never spoken to when she saw me sit down and wait. There was no other signage that said if you’ve checked in online you still have to check in in person. When the person came back I told her it was never communicated in any way that I have To check in 2 ways and she clearly was just annoyed. I waited An hour and I’m almost positive nobody was actually back there because as soon as I was Checked in I was Called back. The nurse who took my vitals wasn’t very nice, but not quite as rude. The PA that I saw was nice, but pretty short. She seemed in a rush and tired.
I’ve also been there for blood work and the person at the desk again, was incredibly rude to all the people she helped. I luckily Barely had to interact with her but she very clearly was only interested in doing the bare minimum. The nurses doing the blood work were lovely, though.
These people seem to expect you to know exactly how everything works. The public is stupid, I am pretty good about troubleshooting on my own but I cant stress enough that there was nothing to indicate I needed to do anything more than check in online. I even spoke with a woman at the front and she asked if I’d checked in and I said I did Online and she said okay and directed me to the urgent care. The reason I didn’t Ask again is because I’m not trying to be that person who is causing the annoyance. I guess I really need to get over that and let myself look impatient because I’ve wasted too much time here because either they didn’t do their job or because the instructions to check in were never communicated clearly enough.
I’ve been to the breast center here as well and the PA I met with was amazing, I think the nurse at the start was sweet too, but I don’t think the staff behind the desk were very welcoming but when I had to talk to them they were nice but dry.
I’m 26 years old, I work a food service job. I get People are annoying and suck. But I think The setting here calls for at least a willingness to help and some amount of kindness.
I will Be avoiding going to this urgent care...
Read moreI went to express care for a cyst I had on my lower back closer to my butt. At the time I just thought I may have had an infection because I've never gotten a cyst in that particular area before but I put it down as an infection on the cards that they have there . Before they check you in . You fill out a card with your information and what brings you to the hospital.
It's a waiting room full of people and they have a glass up, all I hear is them laughing and talking about "we dont even treat this here. Why would she even come up here with this"
First of all . It's a hospital and I have a problem that only can be helped with a doctors assistance but I knew they were talking about me and right after all that they called my name to check me in .
The doctor I seen told me I broke my coccyx bone and recommended ice and tylenol . Whole time I had a whole cyst that was making it hard for me to move. So it was a waste of a visit and just embarrassing .and that's not the only time I've been there and I've never had a good experience with their urgent care . The staff is young and ignorant or old and ignorant. The wait is ridiculous and they dont care about nothing .
I went a second time for a check up and they called me telling me I actually had an infection and I need antibiotics . But they never called in my antibiotics to the pharmacy. They argued me down about it and made me feel as though I didnt know what I was talking about . Only for me to call a different person after coming up there twice and they told me that they never actually released the prescription in the system and I would have to come back Monday because they were closing and the doctor I seen was the only one who could do it , but they were not going to be there any time soon .
Another time I had found out I had breast cancer and my mother had been working for cleveland clinic for years, they would not give her FMLA to take care of me and she ended up losing her job while she was on an unpaid leave, she spoke to her management or supervisor team and got kicked out and banned from coming there like that's not the whole place I went for treatments.
Lastly, i visited them 4 days ago and again a whole waiting room full of people and no confidentiality . They have a glass up and asked what I was there for and I told them but they asked questions that would require I explain in detail what I needed in a small crowded quiet room full of people. And then they closed the glass and yelled it . So everyone in the waiting room can hear . I wont be visiting them anymore from here on out .
But do understand. There are more areas to this facility than just their...
Read moreHonestly, do not come here if you want sympathy. Nov of '22 i suffered a miscarriage. I normally get seen somewhere else, but my drs office scheduled an emergency ultrasound at this facility to make sure i safely passed all tissue, etc.. I show up & the ultrasound technician was nice to start with. They had to do a transvaginal scan. I was still heavily bleeding with light cramping. I was totally fine with having the scan, but the lady was unnecessarily heavy handed & was cramming the probe so far into me, that i was starting to have pain. I started cringing & she snapped at me saying, "this shouldnt hurt you." I snapped back & said, "well i DOES. Plz be more gentle." She finished up & had a dr come in to access the situation & steps going forward. I cant remember the drs name, but it was a slightly older white woman with long blondeish hair. She knew exactly why i was there & handled the entire thing very rudely. Absolutely no compassion & was very cold in telling me that there was nothing in my uterus. She also looked at my ultrasound & said, "oh so this is ur 3rd?" I was confused because it wasnt a question, more of a incorrect statement. I told her "no. This wouldve been my 2nd." She brushed it off & told me if i wanted i should get genetic testing done & see if theres something wrong with me that led to a miscarriage.. My other dr told me that mcs are completely normal & happen to soo many women & having one, especially very early on, isnt a huge concern. This woman made me feel uncomfortable & that i had something odd wrong with me, even though this type of thing is NORMAL. I think they need to better train their providers here & maybe require compassion training on how to speak & interact with patients who have had...
