I looked online to see what movies were gonna be playing on Saturday that a kid would like. I saw that Bad Guys was still playng and they had a 5:35 showing, which I didn't get off from my job until 3 pm and that would still give me enought time to drive home and change clothes and be in BMT with my daughter for 5. We got to the theatre probably about 5:15 or so and saw the sign that said to go purchase our tickets at the concession stand. So we get to the concession stand and I say 1 adult and 1 child (shes's 8) for the 5:35 Bad Guys movie. The man ask would we like any snacks while he was wringing us up. I let her pick out some gummies rings and we get a large popcorn to share and a medium drink. With tickets, candy, popcorn and drink my total was $34 and some change. I looked at the tickets and he charged me for 2 general admissions instead of one for a child...but w/e I wasn't gonna trip. So we go butter out popcorn and get up to the guy that takes the tickets and I hand them to him. He looks and then tells me, ma'am you do know ur movies started at 4 right? I say no, I checked ur movie times on ur website and it clearly states 5:35. He actually asked if I accidentally check the other movie theatres times instead, I said no see and showed them to him. He said the guys at the counter should have said something to u about that not being a showtime. I asked if I could get a refund, my daughter had started crying at this point and the mgr only offered to refund my tickets, not the $30+ food, snacks. I was disappointed mostly and aggravated that the website has the wrong times. Guess I know now to just call and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame to see Haunted Mansion today. As soon as we walked in we were hit with heat in the lobby. I dont know if the air conditioner was broken or not but it was almost unbearably hot while ordering concessions. Concession stand was way over priced, even for a theater. A small popcorn and a large drink were almost 20 dollars. We get to our theater room and sat down. During the entire length of the movie water (or what I hope was water) dripped on me and my companion from the ceiling. Seats were damp, floor was slick. After the movie we stopped by the restrooms, as we were walking out of the restrooms there was an entire wall covered with mold. Thick green mold. I do NOT recommend this theater. Will definitely continue with Tinseltown as I already have the movie membership there which is cheaper than Regal Crown Club (this subscription is 18.99 a month, as seen on an ad during the previews before our movie). Do not waste...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my return to a theater in almost 12 years. Came to this Regal to watch Maverick Top Gun which is probably the best film I've seen in a long time. As we went into the theater there was no line, it was up to the patrons to make one up leaving others to question is this the line? The employee that helped us didn't greet us, not so much as a hi or welcome to Regal theaters. The price for food and drinks were about how I remembered, pretty pricy but that comes with the theater experience I've always remembered. In the auditorium, it was clean, floors a little sticky and my seat had bad support. Film started on time at 1145 but 25 minutes of commercials and trailers was kind of ridiculous. Our auditorium didn't have the screen x and I'm not sure if this theater even has one as it does need updating. All in all it was a decent theater but I think we'll try...
