Full Review A Shallow Shoppers' Haven. That is Bellevue Square. It is a sprawling shopping venue with a mix of retail shops, casual and upscale dining options, and even a comedy club, and initially appears to be a vibrant and enticing destination. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that this mall is more style than substance.

The first impression of Bellevue Square is its sheer size. It’s a mammoth place with an extensive array of stores, including a Macy’s and a seemingly endless collection of trinkets and luxury goods. For the avid consumer, it might seem like a utopia, a place where the thrill of buying and spending can provide a temporary dopamine rush. However, for those seeking something beyond the standard fare of high-end shopping, Bellevue Square disappoints.

The mall's design is grand and spacious, but much of that space feels wasted. Some shops seem to cater to absurdly niche interests—aisles of storage containers, for example—leaving you wondering how they stay in business with such sparse foot traffic. The abundance of empty stores only adds to the sense of superficiality, as you walk past storefronts that appear to be more about filling space than providing valuable or interesting shopping experiences.

One glaring omission is the lack of stores catering to hobbies and niche interests. There are no comic book shops, video game stores, or electronics outlets—odd choices for a venue that aims to be a comprehensive shopping destination. Instead, those looking for entertainment beyond shopping have only an arcade and a movie theater to turn to, which feels like a half-hearted effort to cater to a broader audience.

Bellevue Square is spying every customer parking in their garage and giving non-sense tickets to customers!

I was parking at here everyday for shopping and killing time with friends. I used to enjoy hanging out here. but not anymore!!!

I was meeting with my friend at Thursday 11 AM, we were going to shopping in the mall and visit art museum to kill our times. So I parked there and walked cross the street to the art museum direction to meet with my friend at somewhere 6th Street. We walked back to the mall together at around 30-40 minutes later, probably 11:35 AM before the noon. We had lunch, shopped Sephora, drinker boba tea, and bought some clothes in Gap Kids together.

Horrible things that when I backed to my car at around 4 PM, I saw a ticket on my shield and an ugly large yellow sticker on my window! The ticket says the reason is “walked off the mall” and the yellow sticker says this is the final warning, they recorded my plate number and will tow my car away without notify me next time.

Ridiculous! First of all, I haven’t got any warning before and they claim this is the final warning. I called the traffic manager and he said the reason is “saw me on camera that I was walking off the mall’s direction”. I explained that I have to meet friend first and told him we came back just after about 40 minutes later, I encouraged him to check camera again so it can prove that I’m the actual customer. I also offered to provide the receipts. However all I got is “I don’t care how long before you come back, you left the square without driving away your car.” I was so shocked that the customers are not allowed to park here and have small walks near the mall! I asked what we are supposed to do on this situations, the traffic manager replied “next time you stay within our boundary and ask your friend to find you”.

I can’t believe this had happened! With camera showed us came back soon, and I offered to show my shopping receipts, the traffic manager just repeated again that this is their private property and they can do such so!

I was so shocked and was very upset based on above conversations, so I said “I won’t shop at here agai…”, and before I finish my sentence, the traffic manager said “ok, bye bye” and hang up the phone!
