We walked in, our hostess barely acknowledged us, as she was seating us and genuinely made us feel like the ugly stepchild, we asked to be seated at a booth instead of a table for like 20 people, she then proceeded to AGGRESSIVELY remove the extra silverware from the table we were EVENTUALLY sat at, we ordered the bloody Mary’s, which honestly were pretty good, then we ordered the shepherds pie, and I’ll sum it up for you in case you think you’re ordering something edible, ITS NOT, imagine ordering beef water, with chunks of OVERCOOKED ground beef, and vomit inducing mashed potatoes (seriously, like we felt good all day until we ingested that) and don’t even get me started on the “jambalaya shrimp and chicken pasta” apparently it was supposed to be spicy (newsflash, it’s NOT) it genuinely lacked everything you would want in a dish, if I could give 5 stars to how bad something is , I would give it 5 stars, here are the star players:
1.) lack of flavor. 2.) like exactly 4 pieces of shrimp. And I mean EXACTLY FOUR. 3.) canned tomatoes, I developed an aluminum allergy with them in the vicinity. 4.) the pro for the chicken is that I didn’t develop salmonella (yet, it’s been like 20 minutes, so we’ll see). 5.)the pasta was ok, if you like chewy boiled dough. 6.) there was more seasoning, on the edges of the plate, than in everything we ate this day.
So at this point we’re like, let’s just get a cranberry vodka and call it a day (it is what it is type ish) we get our drinks and we took a sip, just to feel any resemblance of happiness, and we both almost regurgitated (my gf didnt, but I did a little bit in my mouth) it literally felt like someone took an airplane shot poured it in a dusty glass, said screw it threw some moldy ice in there splashed some cough syrup in there just for fun, and said, “yea I did my job” NEWSFLASH, THEY DID NOT.
and look if you think I’ve been harsh here I’m not, I’ve had like A LOT of vodka cranberries in my life, to the point it’s a problem, and this one actually made me consider sobriety as a real option, like……….damn.
I’m back to make an edit because NEWSFLASH, I’m not done yet.
The waiter asked us if we wanted to go boxes for our very obviously untouched meals, I get she was doing her job, but at the end of the day, like NEWSFLASH no we don’t...
Read moreThe total bill for a party of 6 was completely waived by an understanding manager in return for a terrible experience but that didn't make me happy and still I wholeheartedly feel very sorry about not paying them who work till late on Sunday night; but they had to pay a cost too as they ruined our Sunday night with friends. Yes it was Labor Day weekend and it was crowded, but they gave us a wait time of 1 hour 15 minutes and the wait ended up being 2 hours. That is 45 MINUTES estimation error and not just that, right before we were seated we were given a printed long list of over 50 items from the menu which they had run out of. For every new order, we had to search it in the list of 50+ unavailable items first to make sure it's available. Still we had to change our orders a couple times when our waitress came back to us that the kitchen just ran out of this and that... We had ordered our cheese cakes at the exact same time of ordering our food, to ensure they don't run out of them. But still they came back to us 10 minutes later that 3 out of 6 cheesecakes are just unavailable. We had put our name on the list at 7:15 and it was about 10pm when our food was served. The experience was so frustrating that we ended up talking long minutes with our waitress and 2 managers sharing our feedback and total frustration and they eventually waived the entire bill for 6 people. I don't feel good about eating and not paying but I didn't feel good to pay for a terrible service either. The lose-lose situation sadden me but being short staffed shouldn't turn into an excuse for bad service. Sometimes denying service in the beginning when servicing is beyond the capacity of the staff (like saying "sorry we're booked for the night" or "we can't promise any searing for tonight but you may come back in 2 hours and check if we can host you then"), is much better than having a customer wait for 2 hours just to receive a terribly poor service. Poor management and poor corporate execution is definitely to blame and after talking to the staff, I'm realizing that there's a systematic problem in handling these situations. I hope they really care for these reviews, read them and take...

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Cheesecake Factory in Bellevue. Not only did they refuse to accept my European Union (EU) identification as a valid form of identification, but they also demonstrated an appalling lack of customer service and professionalism throughout my visit.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, my colleagues and I were excited to try the food and enjoy a pleasant evening. However, when I presented my EU ID as proof of age, the waiter flatly refused to accept it (They accept ONLY American and Canadian forms of ID). This was a clear act of discrimination and a violation of basic hospitality principles. It is important for any establishment, especially in the diverse and multicultural society we live in today, to respect and accept identification from different countries.
Frustrated and disappointed by the waiter's behaviour, I requested to speak with the manager to address the issue. However, despite waiting for a lengthy 10 minutes, the manager never showed up. This lack of responsiveness is simply unacceptable and demonstrates a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, the waiter's attitude and lack of politeness only worsened the experience. Instead of attempting to understand or resolve the situation, the waiter displayed a dismissive and apathetic demeanour.
As a result of this incident, we were left with no choice but to leave the restaurant. We were not only denied the opportunity to enjoy a meal, but I also felt humiliated honestly.
It is deeply disappointing to encounter such a negative experience at a supposedly reputable establishment. Discrimination should never be tolerated, and it is my hope that Cheesecake Factory takes this review as an opportunity to reflect on their policies and provide appropriate training to their staff to ensure such incidents do not occur...
