Joe, the owner, his son and longtime staff, operate a traditional, hands-on American hardware/supply store. Only hardware store to visit if you're looking to avoid the impersonal box stores. Sure, maybe you'll pay a bit more but you have a home hardware issue they have the answers/products or will recommend a local vendor/business to help resolve your home issues. Went to Tàylor for paint after being ignored in HD for 10 minutes. I barely walked in and was greeted, asked if I needed help. Told them I needed 3 gallons of paint in these colors from a HD brochure. Before I knew it they were mixing the paint and I was on my way. Not my first time at Taylor, but sometimes I forget...
