There are a couple places where people can free climb on old historic rocks, one of them is walled off however. That's at the crossroads. There's a Giant Tree (I'm assuming an Oak) that can be seen from Blackie's Pasture, It's wonderful to sit under. There are good trails for running with sweaping views of the bay from Mt Tam, north to San Quinten, East following the San Rafael Bridge, all the way down to Oakland - you get cut off by the point of Tiburon and Angel Island to the south, but then San Francisco and the Tip of the gate return. This is of course at the top.
