First of all, this hotel was introduced by my friend! The hardware and software facilities of this hotel are super good. The beds in our room are very comfortable, and the pillows are also very comfortable, which is beyond my surprise. In addition, the location of this hotel is very good. Although it is a hotel facing the street, the room is very quiet. In the morning when we left, their receptionist Manuel and their guest room supervisor Yolanda helped us very much. Their restaurant is very good. I highly recommend staying here for enjoying! I believe you must feel the same way as me! The staff are very dedicated and the food is very delicious! Recommended!

This hotel needs a makeover and some TLC. It has a comfortable bed but the design and layout needs some work. Here I have a photo of the outlet coming out of the wall in which the AC is plugged into. Also there are photos of balcony’s offered in the room which we did not receive. We found it odd because the photo that was in the booking did not look like what we had in our room. The bathroom window had some cobwebs but overall the stay was a 3 star. One star going to the customer service at the front desk who was really sweet and friendly! The other two for the location and the comfortable bed.

The location is great with a short walking distance to ferrys departing for San Francisco and Angel island. There are also several great restaurants in the area especially Bar Bocce in Sausalito. The rooms leave a bit to be desired. The pictures online seem much more luxurious than the rooms actually are; the rooms feel more like a Holiday Inn only they're somehow worse due to the lack of sound insulation. Voices from other rooms and noises from outside are very clear. The rooms are not cheap either and they don't include a breakfast but it does come with a $75 restaurant credit, a welcome bag that included two small bottles of Fiji water, one bag of chips, a rice crispy style bar treat and another $10 card for the restaurant located within the lodge. There is an optional voucher for going green and not having room service change the sheets. One is available every day the going green is left on your door. The voucher can be redeemed for $5 Starbucks or $5 Tiburon candy store voucher. It says it's also good for a buy one get one voucher for the Blue and Gold Ferry Golden Gate /Alcatraz Tour but the Front Desk said that option was no longer available due to conflicts with the Ferry company. The restaurant within the Lodge is really nice though. The staff seem very nice and helpful, the atmosphere is pleasant, the food is excellent but the menu does not provide much choice. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice stay with easy access to San Francisco and the...

Would not recommend staying here.

We had a problem with our reservation (thought we had booked 2 nights (Fri, Sat) but instead booked 3 (Th, F, Sat). When we arrived on Friday to check-in, they informed us that they had cancelled our entire reservation - they did not call us, email us or attempt to contact us in any way - just cancelled our reservation. Luckily they had a room for Friday night that we could stay in but nothing for Saturday (the night of the wedding we were attending).

When I expressed surprise that they didn't reach out to talk to us before cancelling our reservation - the manager was rude and argumentative - told me it wasn't their responsibility, I was the one who didn't show up. So much for the customer being even slightly right (an alternate response could have been "wow, you are absolutely right, we should have reached out. I am so sorry for this oversight. What can we do to make your one $386/night stay enjoyable? Can we recommend a few of the other hotels in the area for Saturday?)

The mangers and front desk folks were difficult, argumentative, and rude. I was shocked. They made no effort to help us find another option. In the end, it was clear they wanted us out so they could rent the room for a higher rate.

The pool was great and the location is terrific but doesn't seem worth supporting a place that is not interested in the customer experience. The rooms were also below average and definitely more...

I rate this 2.5 to 3.0....The hotel is in a very quaint location and very near the bay. The hotel front desk staff was very curtious and friendly and had many good suggestions. For the most part the hotel looked great but when we got to our room, we felt like this was a scary hotel. (second floor room) The room looked very cheap and we just couldn't put our finger on it as to why but is was not what you would have expected. The beds were actually very comfortable so that saved the experience. As others have said, you could hear folks in the room above walking around.

We did have issues with the water pressure. Could barely get us wet. We did get a new shower head and that helped some. Then at one point the toilet clogged and when we asked for assistance, the room attendant knocked on the door and she "handed" us a plunger. Made no effort to do the job. Oh well, no big deal but it is the point of making a good impression when it comes to customer service that was not achieved.

I think this hotel needs some room updates. and some additional customer service training for the staff that interacts with the customer. Other positives is that they do not charge for parking and the hotel is in a location away from the big city, more relaxing location. For travelers to know, it took us 1 hour to get to SFO on a Wednesday leaving the...
