It's a great local history museum. Filled with details and interesting stories about prominent people in the town dating back to the 1870s. The museum is housed in the old Bimson blacksmith shop built in 1893 out of quarried stone from the foothills. The exhibits inside the main structure are well-organized by topic - blacksmith shop, Dr office, pharmacy, Victorian house parlor and kitchen, etc. But be sure to have them open up the buildings out back, including original 1870's cabin, a schoolhouse, and a telescope/observatory. The opening hours are limited and there is a small entry fee ($5 per adult) but I feel it's worth it to support the historical society.
