What a beautiful day in a lovely little city! Lots of sunshine, plenty of shade, public restrooms., and tennis courts. I'm not sure if there is a playground, but there is an accessible path which runs through the park. We were there for a dog event and there was a plethora or furry, four footed friends - on leash. The park boasts a number of bronze statues. I took a pic of Harley, a dog rescued from a puppy mill.... the name sake of the event which we were attending. I wish I had paid more attention to the other statues as well. Guess I need...
Read moreFickel Park is a great place. We often walk it. There are sidewalks all around & through it. Nice statues for viewing. From June-September there's a Farmers Market with local items. Great choices. There are also tennis courts.

It's a nice peaceful park with several places to sit and have conversation or eat and several gorgeous statues some of which are rotated so that you're seeing new statues when you peruse through the park. There's a pretty decent tennis court and a lot of shade by the giant trees that have been here since I was a kid.
