First time we tried was delivery on door dash. We thought it was decent and wanted to try in person. Clearly service is an issue there. We were seated right away, chips and salsa came rather quickly. Waitress, drinks, tableware did not. It was a good 15 min. Before she showed up with silverware and took our drink order. It was quite some time before she came back with our sodas and took our order. Food took a bit to arrive and it was disappointing at best. Salsa was delishious, chips were over fried seemed old and hard. We both got combo plates. While my boyfriend's food was hot the shreded chicken and beef were dry and chewy with no flavor. My plate seemed like it had sat on the pass for a bit because it was not very hot. Green chilli was tasty yet sparce. The rice was very salty. My chimmi. was soggy hardly seemed fried. My enchalda while cheesy was cold and hard. My crispy relleno although was a full pepper was wrapped in a wonton and had sat long enough the cheese was starting to get hard again. The place although table tops seemed clean the floors, not so much. On my walk to the ladies room my shoe picked up something so gross and sticky I almost thought I had stepped in gum. Although the restroom seemed clean the cardboard taped to the window so no one could see into the stall was a nice touch. Then the stall lights went out, literally, thankfully it wasnt all if them. Over all not a place I would recommend or we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust sharing my honest opinion. My girl and I just went for the first time. The look of the building is what drew us in. Giving us the impression of a good place to eat. Upon arrival and after being seated, it was 20+ minutes before we were seen by a server for anything to drink or eat. No napkins. No water. Nothing. After reading the reviews this seems to be a common experience amongst customers. I over heard the table next to us having the same problem only it was at the end of their experience. They had been waiting for the same amount of time we were there just for their check and a to go box. Once we finally ordered and got the process going, the food did at least come out quickly. We did not have to have to wait as long for the food. However, we were not very satisfied with the food. My girl got a combo with enchiladas and chili Rianoās, and they were mushy and almost soggy. She did not finish her food. I got the shrimp fajitas which looked appetizing at first. And there was plenty of shrimp, they didnāt skimp on the amount. But they were not very tasty. Pretty bland and tasted like frozen shrimp from the grocery store. Kind of the same experience with the peppers in the fajitas. I also didnāt finish my food. To say least we were disappointed with our experience and most likely will not be returning for having to spend 50 dollars for service and food of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt brings me no comfort to rate this establishment as such; but I have to be honest. So my lady and I attempted to dine here. With her being from Monterrey, Mexico seems as if we would have gotten a napkin , drink order or some service within 23 minutes of being seated. I totally get some Hispanic people mentalities ( wanting to be White ) and or thinking theyāre superior to Blacks. Believe you me the White ethnicity that feels some type of way about anyone with color other than themselves , yet feel the same about you and I. So much Brown hate against Blacks itās sickening. The experience was one of the worst Iāve ever encountered. Mind you Grad school was located in the Southern part of the United States. The mere attitude of letās call her Maria & him Jose was stupendous. If thereās any Blacks thatās traveling and decide to stop here please donāt . Itās literally a twilight zone from Brown people. So we went and got a slice of pizza from a down to earth White guy then visited another Mexican restaurant 2 minutes away and had a great meal with excellent service. It definitely boils down to how a person was raised. So to Maria & Jose your PARENTS failed you. Please...
