We ordered pizza last night and after we paid, they quoted 1 hour for delivery. Once it passed an hour and a half, I called and the person over the phone told me our food was out for delivery. 15 minutes pass and we received a phone call from the delivery driver at a different number from Brick Oven Pizza saying they could not deliver our pizza because they did not have our card information and needed the card number again. My husband was hesitant giving this information, so he cancelled our order. I called back the Brick Oven Pizza number and asked to speak to the Manager (Micky or Nicky). She was extremely unprofessional, and you could tell she did not have any management experience. At one point she told me “it is not my fault they do not listen to me on quoting times. I told them to quote longer since we only have one delivery driver and they do not listen to me”. At this point we clearly were going nowhere in the conversation, so I ended the call. I looked on our bank statement and they charged our card! Why would they call us from a different number trying to get our card information again when they already charged it! I called back and spoke to the Manager asking why they would refuse to deliver our pizza and ask for our card information when they already charged our card. She apologized and said they must have “lost the receipt in the wind” and said, “I will refund your card”. If you ask me, they were trying to steal our information. Today I looked at our bank statement and not only did they not refund our card, but they added a tip. I called to speak to the owner Cliff and Cliff told me “I am in the middle of a rush and need you to call me back later”. I told him I believe one of your employee’s tried to steal from us last night and his response was “I can assure you no one tried to steal from you and again, I am in the middle of a rush and need you to call me back from 2-5”. Cliff could have at least asked for my information so he could call me back instead of being so unprofessional over the phone. How Cliff has successfully owned this business for 10 years is beyond me. Do not order from...
Read moreDo not go to this “restaurant” for any type of food. This review is less about the quality of the food and more about the environment it is cooked in. The floors are Hardly ever swept in the place leaving dust mites and food scraps all over the kitchen floors. The pans/trays that the pizza dough is stored in, the pizza peel, pizza cutters, pizza trays, knifes, cutting boards, counters, food tins, food coolers, and mixing bowls are all rarely washed. For a matter of fact they’ll say the dishes will be washed, but In all reality they were just rinsed off with water. It’s obvious with the film of grease that covers all the utensils and walls in the place. Half of the food comes from Sams Club or the nearby grocery market hays but not for freshness, but to save money on the lowest quality of food possible. Most of the sand witches and subs on the menu have an ingredient that is microwaved for At least 3 minutes such as the meatball sub which is members mark meatballs that need “defrosted” before being but on bread and thrown in the oven. The wings go down the same road being just frozen Tyson brand chicken wings microwaved for three minutes in Frank’s red hot and then thrown into the oven. The mini fridge that holds all the Members Mark brand food also has a constant coating of different types of food and mold marks. Speaking of mold too, the boiler room on the southwest corner of the building, which I was told “not to breathe in too much” has a black mold infestation. All of the water going through the building has black mold in it, which is one of the main ingredients in the pizza dough. I could keep rambling on about the poor quality of cleanliness in the environment of this stores kitchen, but hearing the words black mold in a kitchen should be causing alarms to be ringing in the ears of anyone that’s reading this. Do not eat the food here until there is a new leaf turned around on the kitchen’s level of...
Read moreI give it one star for being semi- okay food if they happen to get it right. My first order was a sandwich which was missing all meat and all the vegetables, of which I ordered all of them plus mayo plus O/V. It was a dry cheese sandwich made by an unsupervised new employee on his first day. I decided to give them more chances but apparently their mistake gets turned into a grudge held by the owner after I had spent cash in his restaurant every single day for lunch and tipped his teenage employees very well for two weeks straight. He is one of the rudest people I have ever met. I've never had anyone make me turn and leave a restaurant due to abusive behavior. He belittled me and called me names in front of other customers because I had a simple request to reuse a pizza box to create less waste. He lost my business as well as the business of all my co-workers. What an absolutely horrible man. Shame on you! You say you won't reuse a box because of germs yet your restaurant and your garbage cans are caked with old food. You even handed a piece of salami to me over the counter right from your bare hand and told me to eat it. You have a strange sense of...
