I enjoyed lunch and coffee here with a friend...
Food Quality - ☆☆☆ There were an excellent variety of options available, but I wasn't overly impressed with the quality. My broccoli cheddar soup was lukewarm and not very flavorful, and the specialty coffee drink that I ordered was weak. But my side salad was both fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the tomato bisque and grilled cheese, and said that they were wonderful.
Presentation - ☆☆☆☆☆ Everything was beautifully plated and excellent in appearance.
Portion size - ☆☆☆☆☆ The portions seemed just right. I received about 8oz of soup and a decently sized, side salad. We did not try any of the main dishes.
Atmosphere - ☆☆☆☆☆ A wonderful, quaint setting for lunch with a friend. Very bright and airy, with limited seating. Felt like a cross between a café and a tea house.
Price - ☆☆☆☆ The pricing was about average; not too expensive, nor low enough to be exceptional. I paid $11-$12 for a cup of soup, side salad, and 16oz beverage.
Cleanliness - ☆☆☆☆ Everything felt clean and orderly.
Service - ☆☆☆☆☆ We received pleasant service, with just the right combination of attention and privacy.
I do plan to return, and look forward to trying other options on the menu!
My respectful critique: It would be excellent to see a more flavorful, high-quality soup, served hot, to match the quality and style of this cute Kó-fē House. And the quality of the coffee was not up to par with my...
Read moreFirst visit impressed me! Reasons I will come back: 1) drive thru coffee and food! Hurray, this is a huge plus because I do not like to go inside places. 2) My coffee was excellent! I tried a Vienna latte, and the flavor of the espresso was authentic and tasty. Great whipped cream too. 3) Bacon burrito was tasty and had a homemade vibe to it! From the tortilla to the ingredients inside, it was great. Though there was no salsa the packets of tapatio hot sauce I asked for really made it perfect! 4) Customer service was TOP NOTCH! The barista at the window was genuine, sunny, and patient with my first customer questions. I felt very welcomed and tended to! 5) Atmosphere- the little building always has caught my eye due to the bright colors of the painted murals. Rich royal purple, my favorite. The sign at the end of the drive through area has a board with a quote I am guessing is changed often, and it was fun to read something uplifting! 6) I love hometown coffee and food joints and will do all I can to support a good one! Anything to avoid the tasteless and robotic alternative (corporate chain rhymes with blarblucks). Thanks for catching a new customer, Kofe! My only regret is not having tried...
Read moreWe were up at Berthoud for a business meeting and arrived a little earlier than needed, so decided to stop at Kofe House for a coffee. The place is so neat and pleasant.
I had a cappuccino and my colleague had an Italian soda. From the service to the taste of the drinks everything was excellent.
They have background music and we were very grateful that is was a great selection of tunes without been overwhelmingly loud. Sometimes you can’t hear your party from the level of music. This was just right.
From a menu selection standpoint, they have so many options from the coffee menu to a smoothie selection, food and snacks.
Price-wise they are comparable to any other coffee shop.
I would definitely stop here again when I’m back in the area and try other things from their extensive...
