Berthoud Town Park — Attraction in Berthoud

Super fantastic park. We had not been since the renovation. They not longer have a pool.

The upside is they have. Splash area. So nice to visit the splash pad when it is hot outside. It's a simple splash pad, not elaborate equipment, but refreshing. They have the sprinklers that shoot up streams of water. There is a little water fall for the kiddos to explore. I estimate good size splash pad for the littler kids. 1 year and up. Great for little kids. There are a lot of little climbing, walking rocks around the splash pad.

The playground equipment is very nice. Alot of jungle gym, rope type adventures. Plenty of slides, one even has rollers tords the bottom for more umph. There is even a little rock wall and one equipment has little rocks to help climb. The playground is covered in rubbery astro turf, it is very oft and playable. Plenty of shade, which is lacking in other parks. The restrooms, are clean and well kept. There is a water fountain and bottle refill station. Picnic tables and plenty of seating. Great job with the design...

2022: Quaint park with lots of basic features that are well taken care of and perfect for your littles. Our dog and I enjoy hanging out and playing ball in the field, and there aren’t as many mosquitos as there are at the local dog park so it’s very nice. Ranges from not too overpopulated to extremely busy depending on when you go.

2023: We explored more of the area and found vivacious shade trees in another small field towards the back that’s more suitable for a walk, picnic, or some ball-time with the pup. Pickleball courts are tucked away in the same...

Brought my girls here and they had a blast! The park was really fun. Lots to do with a REALLY high slide that does get a little rough coming down, a merry go round built into the ground and doesn't go super fast, and the splash pad was great though we had a hard time finding the button to turn the water on. (More our issue as there are signs saying and showing what the buttons look like.) All in all it was a great time for all of...
