OK wow... I have to say I've only once given a negative review online before and I really don't see the point unless it's to inform people to not purchase or do business with a company. That holds true for D'Rose. Do not go there. My Story: I ordered a sunflowers for my girlfriend to be delivered today on valentines day at her office(she works on campus) as a surprise. Plus ladies obviously love getting flowers at work. I get a call the day before on my phone asking for my girlfriend. This was weird but not too abnormal so I gave her my phone. They first ask her "Are you on campus today?" she asks "what? how did you get this number to contact me?" The guy then tells her he is with D'Rose and has a delivery that he wants to deliver early because of the storm. Now why in hell would this company call for the person getting delivered the flowers and not the contact information listed for purchasing it? So my valentines flower plan was ruined because this company clearly does not have the correct protocol in place for these situations. They 100% should have called me and arranged for a different plan. But since they were complete idiots on the matter they called for the person who was supposed to have them delivered CLEARLY as a valentines gift. The way they nonchalantly just said hey here you go and dealt with the situation showed how little they cared for the idea of giving flowers to someone special. Additionally the flowers were wilted and in just terrible overall shape. My girlfriend said it's without a doubt from trying to deliver too many at once and them getting too cold. Showing now that they not only don't care about the circumstance of the flower delivery but the flowers themselves. Read moreWhen I ordered flowers for my sister's birthday, I called to ensure they had the flowers to make the arrangement I wanted. I was told they did. When the flowers were received, I was sent a photo of what arrived and was embarrassed. It was nothing like what was shown in the photo on their website. I called the florist and was told they made it per "the recipe". I sent photos to the owner who agreed it was not made as it should have been (made by someone new) and asked if it could be re-made. If so, they would need to get the arrangement back to do so. My sister dropped off the arrangement at the shop that afternoon and received the arrangement again the next day. It is better than the first for sure but still nothing like what was shown in the picture on their website. Apparently, someone else (telefloral ?)provides the photos of all the options and the local floral shop makes them per "recipes". It is still very deceiving when you think you are sending one arrangement only for them to receive one far less than. Additionally, after letting them know exactly where to deliver it, the driver left it unattended and did not notify anyone of the delivery. Not only did they take two additional days to deliver the flowers, but delivered them to the entirely wrong address. They delivered them to the neighbors house (the number is RIGHT outside our door!) They refused to refund my boyfriend when I never got the flowers and even after the neighbors informed me of what happened the next week we never received any compensation or apology. They offered "store credit" but as my boyfriend explained, it's unfair he paid extra for same day delivery since it was a very specific and tragic day for me, and they flowers were never delivered that day (even online stated the flowers were delivered at 5 pm on Friday, but the neighbors said they got them Sunday evening). They wouldn't even refund the additional fee he paid. Luckily, he was able to cancel the transaction through his credit card. I'm sure their flowers are just fine, but mistakes like that are absolutely inexcusable.
