PARENTS BEWARE!!! Policies full of red-tape and fees

After joining and actively participating for two months, we decided KidStrong was not the right fit for our child and our family. As parents of young children this realization is not uncommon as we seek to find the right activities to support our kids growth and development.

Our otherwise positive experience turned very negative when we tried to cancel our membership, there was no prioritization of customer service and it became clear that the objectives KidStrong was seeking to teach our children were not how the management of the organization runs this franchise. We requested to cancel a full week in advance of the next billing cycle only to be told we would have to pay for a full additional month, there was no flexibility, no understanding, only a conversation with the manager repeatedly reading the terms and conditions. I might add, they request we sign these terms and conditions along with my other documents the day of arrival with your young child in tow, eager to get started, essentially forcing a signature.

It is clear this organization cannot stand behind the quality of their programming to grow their franchise, rather by charging fees - requesting an upfront "registration fee" of $50, monthly payments during enrollment and then an EXTRA month after you decide to cancel even if there is enough time to adjust the billing period.

Further, when a conversation was started in the KidStrong Facebook Group on this topic and other parents were similarly sharing their concerns, they immediately removed me from the group rather than addressing these concerns for the larger audience.

I caution any future members to think twice before signing up your young children, if you discover this is not the right fit, be prepared to...

My daughter was actively participating since kids strong start!! We wanted to support that kind of project and program for our kids and our community!!! We decided KidStrong was not the right fit for our child and our family.

Even though We found unhealthy to have every week a different coach and/ or a different assistant, we decided to give it a try of that program!

It says 30 days in advance!!! In our mind as À parents that what we understand!! I requested a cancellation mid of January! She said I need to pay all the way until March 3rd!!! On top of it, the customer service was awful!! You should’ve be CLEAR and REPEAT ur tricky rules to parents!!! U emailed us a bunch of advertising email that distracted us as à parents!! Read all of the reviews, you should see many ppl regret when they ignored the negative reviews like me. This place has 6 month commitment which disclosed in tiny font words on their flyer. I did not know it until I cancel because my kid did not have time due to new school year. They charge 50% of what remaining commitment, they are charging a service that I will not be able to use. This is ridiculous and I am an experience parent, not a newbie in these kid activities, my daughter does swim, chess, gymnastic, soccer at the same time and nothing like this place.
