Im not one to leave reviews usually but I just had a second experience here that I felt compelled to write a review about. The first time we went there we had just discovered this place and were so excited, the manager (a young gentleman) was so unenthusiastic I felt like I was talking to wall paper. I was asking questions about the business and what not and he was just kind of mute- so it was strange. The lemon pie was good though. Now, I just stopped in spontaneously, 27 weeks pregnant looking forward to a piece of pie. I lug my 2 year old in and am looking at everything while there are a ton of men standing around watching. I finally bring my selections up and the manager decides to tell me that they are only accepting cash. Seriously-that’s fine but you literally saw me looking at everything and waited until I brought stuff up to say something. I’ve worked behind a cash register before- a bit of advice, if your card reader is down, you should say that immediately when someone walks in instead of letting them waste their time. Got 2 slices of pie, key lime and Michigan 4 Berry absolutely disgusting will not buy again. Pie had no flavor and key lime texture and taste was severely off, crust was weak and unenjoyable. I can get a better pie at McDonald’s for half the price! Save your money and go to grand traverse pie company for a genuine tasting pie. Will not be returning or recommending to others in fact...

We have purchased hand pies several times in the last few months. We purchased 4 on Wednesday, January 8th and were so disappointed. There was barely any filling in the all berry hand pies.
