It all began when my love Mimi was curious about micro blading and I wanted to research with her this technique. After extensive research, deriving doubts and questions, asking friends, doing internet research finding the truth about microblading we came across Marija and her lovely business. The reviews all spoke well of Marija, her own publications and knowledge conveyed in her writing were that of a scholar in the art of microblading. She knows all the answers to the questions that were our concerns. So, Mimi and I decided to call Brows Art, but it was right before 8pm. As we did not get an answer, we thought the business had closed for the day, but surprisingly Marija herself called back and apologized for missing the call. Marija went on to describe her services and extensive details about Microblading in such a professional manner that Mimi wanted the procedure done ASAP. So, we were able to setup an appointment for the next Saturday. When we showed up for Mimi's appointment, Marija was expecting us and juggling other clients, but in no way were we neglected. She is a master and an artist doing this work so casually making it all look so easy, yet it is difficult and requires a gentle and artistic hand with alot of practice and training. Maria did a wonderful job on my eyebrows. I was a bit nervous because I am naturally blonde and have thin blonde eyebrows. With no makeup on, you cannot even see them. When I called to find out more information, Maria was very honest. She told me that being a blonde, I would need the initial appointment and a touch up afterwards. She was correct. I had my initial appointment back in August and was a bit conservative with the color and shape. However; I loved how they turned out. I got many compliments. However; I still had to fill them in with makeup because I did go very light with the color. After getting used to having eyebrows, I went in for my touch up 2 months later. I told her that I would like to go darker and a bit fuller with the brows. I liked that she didn't push me to do that in the initial appointment and listened to what I wanted. Maria microbladed my eyebrows, and honestly it's the best decision I've EVER made!!! As a natural blonde, my eyebrows were very light, with some of the hairs being almost white, so it looked like there were bald spots in them and I had to pencil them in every day in order to look normal. So when I started looking into having them microbladed I was so excited, but also very cautious, as I knew that microblading blondes was the most difficult and had the most chance to come out looking really bad and fake. When I talked to Maria she made me feel extremely comfortable and answered all of my questions, and also provided links to pictures of her work where I was able to see how detailed and talented she really was!
