Have you ever seen the movie Pretty Woman? That’s exactly how we felt leaving this store! I guess showing up in our workout gear means we are less worthy!?! So disappointed and disgusted by this place! We walked in and it was empty. We were approached by a sweet teen who was going to help us. She was wonderful. She told us the “rules” and we followed. We were there less then a an hour and a man, who I assume is the owner, walked over and asked “what is your daughters style”. I said well she’s interested in this type of dress but we think we are now leaning towards this type of dress. He said, well she should know what she wants like this girl over here-pointing to another teen trying on dresses. I said yeah well she isn’t quite sure and he told me that we are confusing her by trying on different styles and to stop pulling dresses because we are confusing her. He said she needs to go home and look at the pictures of the dresses she tried on and see what she likes before coming back OR she can also go to another store. I thought that was a weird and rude comment so I ignored his comment because I was not going to ruin my daughter’s day. We were literally deciding between two dresses and were unsure on the color so we asked to try on a style we loved but in a different color. Our “helper” said sure and that man came out and said…no!, They have been here long enough (we weren’t even there an hour) and can’t try on anymore because other people need to use the dressing room. There were 4 people there and there were plenty of rooms available. I said she just want to try on one more? The young girl helping said…ok but you’ll have to wait now. I said, for one more dress? She said yes. The man took the dress we wanted to try on and hung it back up with the rest of the dresses. So rude and disgusting. We will look else where. Thank you Madeline’s Boutique for making my daughters dress shopping experience so disappointing. We will...
Read moreDon’t waste your time. We had the WORST experience here! Wish I could leave zero stars The dresses are okay, but some of their staff are extremely unprofessional and rude. I visited the boutique with my daughter and her best friends, 2 of her friend had purchased their dress with them previously and was very excited to help us find the dress for my daughter’s Prom. After she tried 3 dresses and noticing she wasn’t happy with them, I started looking for other dresses for her to try, out of no where, this man (later found out, he’s the owner), started yelling with a very bad demeanor, “no more pulling, no more pulling.” He took the dress I had in my hand from me and I was so confused and startled, to say the least. I asked him what’s going on as I didn’t understand what was the problem, he continued with the worse attitude saying the store and dressing room was too full and overwhelming and that I should wait for the sales associate to help me pull more dresses,( I was never told or advised, I wasn’t allowed to look or pull other dresses without her help). I continued to have a very confused face and he basically said that maybe I was better off someplace else, as I walked towards the dressing room to ask my daughter to get dressed and leave. He followed me and continued to harass me, telling the associate not to allow anyone in the dressing room besides my daughter, I was terrified and wanted to leave right away. I was trying to maintain calm and not make a scene, to respect my daughter and her friends’ special moment and not completely ruin her special moment. I truly don't remember the last time that I was treated so horribly as I was in this AWFUL place. Truly a HORRIBLE experience. On the bright side, I was able to get an appointment with Simone at Madame Bridal and as expected we had an amazing experience and was treaded with much respect and care. We were able to find the most beautiful dress for...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. This was by far the most awful experience. I am not one to write reviews but I just can't wrap my arms around how bad our time was at this store. From the second we walked in the staff was incredibly rude. I was going for a "mother of the groom" experience...they advertise that they have dresses for all ages and types but it was very obvious when we walked in that it is really a prom/young persons kind of place. A man (I am assuming was the manager or owner) asked what style I was looking for and I explained that I wanted something with sleeves. He literally rolled his eyes and said "good luck". Then immediately went into the upsell on their alterations person and how they can make sleeves for anything and that all they have for me to try on is sleeveless. We then got assigned to an older women (all the other employees are teenagers, so I guess they thought we needed an older person) who did absolutely nothing to guide us. She just walked around with us as we "shopped". I thought the point of my scheduled hour was to have dedicated time while the so called experts evaluate my needs and help guide me towards things their store carries. As I expressed interest in certain dresses she commented by saying..."oh those are for grandmas" and "no...thats an ugly one". She was obviously helping multiple people at once and kept leaving and having us wait in the dressing room for long periods of time. Then 45 minutes into our scheduled one hour appt the same man from the front came to tell her that he needed the room and the next appt was there and waiting. We then were rushed out without even a thank you or goodbye. It was the most awful experience and...
