Gel pedi, Dip mani Where do I begin...a friend and I made an appt for friday afternoon at 3 pm for our services. I called earlier to ask if there were any openings later about 330 or 4 pm as we would have to rush our lunch. We were told that it would be impossible and that they were completely booked for the rest of the day. I replied "no worries" and that we would be there on time.
After arriving exactly at the time of appt, we are told to pick our color, sit and wait. We waited for 50 mins for them to even seat us....after being seated for the pedicures, we waited for an additional 15 mins before they began our services. They started with my friend and even though we asked for the exact same services, I was somehow done with my pedicure a good 10 mins before she.
Manicure time.. Right away only because I asked did they clean my cuticle and message my hand a little bit. But my friend did not say something in time and they had already begun dipping her nails in the powder (without even really sanitizing I might add). Along with the dip manicure, one of my pointer fingers had cracked the next day....
Hesitated going back to this low grade place to get it fixed but figured since it was originally done there I should return to the scene of the crime. After arriving on a Monday mid day (should be the slowest time..) and waiting for 15 mins again to be seated, they did file and re dip the nail. However, now, 2 days later the entire dip polish on the nail is hanging on by a thread....
Needlessness to say, do not waste your time or money at this...
Read moreMy mother always says, "it is not about the way you falter - it's about the way you recover". I'd chosen Zeda Salon based on the excellent reviews already provided to the nail spa. I went the day before my engagement and got a full set that was not done well, and I complained and wrote a scathing review for them - the owner contacted me, apologized profusely, and politely asked for an opportunity to fix the issue. My point was never to demean or hurt a business, as I know the demands of a business and understand that mistakes can happen and workers can have an off day, and I was grateful for the opportunity to have them fix the issue.
I went in for my revision, and Melinda made it a point to make sure that my nails were done to perfection, as I was getting engaged that evening. She kept apologizing, and I kept telling her I am grateful. I also noticed that the workers I had so vehemently attacked in my review did not act with animosity towards me and treated me genuinely well. I was truly impressed with the professionalism, and even more importantly, was incredibly delighted by the end of result. Their business practices were truly impressive, and I highly recommend them - the salon is beautiful and well kept inside, with a very comfortable interior, and everything is kept clean. The technicians are all friendly, and even if I did get someone who was having an off day, ultimately I walked away super happy. THANK YOU ZEDA NAILS & SPA for going above and beyond for me - I truly appreciate...
Read moreWas not at all happy with the service. First of all my appointment was at 9 AM. I arrived shortly before nine and had to wait for a technician. Once I got a technician to start on my manicure she did not inform me of any up charges I requested an overlay with no chip polish square shape as they were and French style. When it was done, my nails were round it on the ends that I did not request I do not like round nails I requested that she fix them because the French was too thin. She argued.with me until I bluntly asked are you going to fix my nails or not clearly she was agitated and did not want to do it. She pretend to do something yet was still not how I wanted them. By this time it was 10:30 and no one had started on my pedicure. When the technician finally showed up to do the pedicure, she was going so fast again I mention square shape. I ended up with a Square round. I did not leave there until after 12 which was much too long to take to just to get a manicure and a pedicure. It cost me $88 more than the price that I was quoted over the phone. I question it and the lady had the nerve to charge me more for my manicure saying she had to remove the overlay. Yet she never mentioned that to me nor stated whatever she was doing was an up charge. Not a way to do business. I am not at all s satisfied customer. I paid and left, but was very unhappy with the service Will not recommend anyone...
