One of the only, and decent shopping centers in Boone. It's filled with your normal variety of different shops, restaurants, grocery store, (and at the time of this review) a decent pawn shop... When it comes to parking you'll be able to find a spot easily. It is built on the Mountain so it's got a weird layout. Biggest complaint with have to be the speed bumps! They're shaped very steep and narrow, even for that kind of place. I could see them being much more practical in front of a school or Park instead.. To be clear, I'm all about being Numero Uno for safety, so please don't take this the wrong way. My point is I've lived here my entire life and I couldn't tell you the name of almost every one of the shops in that center like I can the others in town. Yes thewhole parking lot is a strung up weird last minute decision type of design, but I blame the speed bumps.... Another Pro is there are like five different ways that you can leave the shopping center and get onto the streets of Boone. They are all very easy and fast so you're not having to worry about getting stuck behind someone who's too afraid to make a left handed turn onto Hwy321. If you think about it though. Every shopping center in Boone has at least one thing that's just really weird as far as parking lots in shopping centers go... I could elaborate on each, but I'm sure most people just really don't care about my parking lot opinion...... So to sum it all up. I do think that the shopping center is clean, and a safe area. But with exception to the pawn shop all you have to do is go a mile in each Direction and you'll find shops just like in that shopping center to choose from. If you do drive through there make sure to drive around back to get to Harris Teeter so you don't have to lose a muffler. Just don't drive through the center of the parking lot like an idiot, again the place is small and if one of those old ladies rear-ends you bro, going home without a bumper is going to be the least of your worries.... Those old ladies will end you on a Sunday after church with a coupon box in their hand. Then...

Shadowline is home to interesting shops; a great casual dining American-cuisine restaurant/bar, Pepper's, and the best Asian food in town at the Taste Grill. The parking is excellent and the location is great, central to town and...
