My mother and I took the the kids to go see how the Grinch stole Christmas, usually when you walk into the room the screen is on and they're playing something, but when we walked in the screen was off and the lights were dim. The movie was supposed to start at 1:55, we sat there for about ten minutes thinking they were just busy and got behind, well then the lights went off and it was completely dark and still nothing started playing, i think we all waited another 5 minutes. Kids were freaking out because it was dark and we couldn't see anyying,a we had to use the lights from our phone, well me and another customer got up and told an an employee the movie was not on and the lights are off, he looked at us like he was shocked and walked away and called someone on the walkie talkie and we went back to the theater and still 10 minutes with no movie. Finally it came on but skipped all the previews. After the movie I told my mom to go talk to a manager to explain what was going on, she told him about us having to wait for our 1:55 movie to start and that we sat in the dark and all he said was they do not have people who sit in the projection rooms waiting to play the movies and if that sort of thing happens again in the future we need to tell someone that works there to play the movie. My mom paid 40 bucks for tickets and we're expected to tell these people to do their job. We never even had anyone come and apologize for making us wait nearly 30 mins for a movie we paid for. And the manager didn't even apologize. He did give us free movie passes but only after my mother asked for a partial refund. More than likely we probably will not come back to this theater. Plus the popcorn was so overly buttered and supper greasy and the bucket consisted what looked like the left over batch from and earlier time, it was cold and upset our stomachs bad. My son had to keep running to...

Never go here. I was sitting down on a Sunday night in a movie alone. There were about 6 people on the theater. Suddenly, in the middle of the movie, an overly aggressive security gaurd was in my face with a flashlight. He was demanding to see my ticket. I asked why and he wouldn’t give an answer. I showed him my ticket and after him belittling me and making me feel as if I did something wrong I was allowed back to my seat.

I was so shaken up at this point that I couldn’t get back into the film. My hands were literally shaking and heart beating. So I got up, went out and asked why was I singled out? I really just wanted an answer and understanding of the situation. The manager said that someone had reported a suspicious man in the theater who was making people feel uncomfortable, which I can assure you I wasn’t doing. I was sitting alone minding my own business trying to see the Lady Gaga Bradley Cooper romance unfold on the silver screen.

This security security guard then approached the manager and I and essentially began making fun of me for feeling shaken up over the incident. This just compounded the frustration from before and made it even worse. He had no business coming up to me like that while I was dealing with management.

I then demanded my money back and left the theater. Never go here. They are unprofessional and incredibly disrespectful. I can understand doing your job, but there is no need for indimidation by a over zealous flashlight wielding gun toting security card.

I didn’t come to the movies to feel like I’m about...

Although my family would absolutely love to go out and see a movie again and make this a weekly thing, sadly, we will not. We are not going to wear a ridiculous face covering that is nothing more than a placebo and carry on with this ineffective social distancing nonsense. Both have proven to do no good whatsoever. On top of those things, the boardwalk is all but dead now thanks to the lack of BPD doing security and thugs running rampant. Mask mandates have been lifted because they never worked in the first place. We have disposable income but refuse to go somewhere overrun with thugs and no decent security. Figure 4 tickets at $15 each plus concessions. That's over $100 that Regal just lost due to your ridiculous requirements and lack of decent security. And that's for just one family. Do the math. My family will keep our disposable income and stream from home. Good luck Regal. Edit as of 11/05/22 Took my son here to watch a movie with a friend. His ticket was $18. He's 13 but was charged as an adult. $5 for M&Ms and $7 for a Sprite? We'll just stay at home from now on. The theater is still ran down and dingy. The majority of the stores on the Boardwalk are closed up as well. Sadly, I think the entire location...

The place was slammed packed with over 50 people in line to buy tickets and the only had one window open. Inside it wasn't much different, maybe 20 people in each of the two lines, it took over 40 minutes to get some snacks. The restrooms we're not clean with pee all over the floor, it smelled terrible and there were dirty diapers on the handrails in the handicap stall where the changing table was. The trash can in our theater was full when we first walked in and I assumed it was because the previous movie just ended. However, the trash was never emptied and I had to throw our trash away in the bathroom because people just kept piling it on top (see photo I took). I start looking at the reviews on here and see that they only respond to people who give then a four star or higher rating. What's up with that? First post: 23 June Follow up: 5 July

Showed up at 9pm to see a movie and first went to the rest room there was no tissue paper in the woman's restroom and only one person working at concessions and two long lines. So we decided not to waste our time. There was a group of four standing at the ticket podium chit chatting so we let them know there was no tissue paper in the restroom 🚺 but they didn't seem to care. Then when we got to our theater and into our seats no one cleaned the theater from the show before and it was filthy and disgusting there was trash everywhere. This theater has really gone downhill.

Really unfortunate that most of the shops have closed. The few that are there really need some love from the community to stay in the area. Chocolate crocodile place is fantastic! Rocket fizz is nostalgic. Do Good shop has a lot of great products supporting a variety of things... Got me with supporting some doggos! Earthbound transports me to Zen! And don't forget about catching a movie at Regal! Get more shops here and revitalize the area for out of town business people like us.
